3 suns are better than no sun, as long as you're at a comfortable distance from the star(s).
@@DZ477 that is true, its called the habitable zone of a star. And i would agree that 2 suns might be okay but unfortunetly with 3 suns there will be absolut chaos. I assume the 3 suns each make up a good percentage of the mass of their solar system since suns require a certain mass. For example our solar system works because our sun has 99.8% of the mass of the solar system. Lets say the 3 suns are each similar size, which will result in an unpredictably chaotic orbit that is drasticaly affected by the smallest changes. Its called the three body problem if you want to know more.
That being said there is pretty much no chance that earth will constantly stay in the habitable zone of these 3 stars because of that.

For everyone who’s confused about the whole reaching a new galaxy “soon”, the Earth is falling into that wormhole where the sun was.
that's not how I interpreted it but if so,
talk about out of the frying pan and into the fire. If we thought losing the life producing star was our demise that black hole takes no prisoners
What if the wormhole disappeared after it absorbed the sun, but because of how it's appearance was timed and how it's positioned, the earth's orbit was redirected toward Alpha Centauri anyway. And the rest of the planets would perhaps veer off their own course also and headed toward the former wormhole location, and somehow none of them managed to clash into each other or earth as she was hurtling toward AC on unnatural speed (because the aliens somehow accelerated earth's speed just for fun).

It was somewhat believable until the "soon they will reach their new home" in another galaxy part. Like how many lightyears per second is the earth going at?
Lightyears per second is an .... interesting unit of speed
@@fonfonanime technically 1 lightyear = the distance light can travel in 1 year right? correct me if i'm wrong lol
@@fonfonanime I'm not the best at math, but if we say that the closest "another galaxy" to us is Andromeda, that is 2,537,000 lightyears away. If I guess that the plot of the movie took about a week, that's 604800 seconds. 2,537,000 / 604800 = 4.19, meaning the sun disappearing sent the Earth flying at around 4.19 lightyears per second conveniently straight at Andromeda. Those 3 suns on the other end must be also quite magical to slow the Earth back down to orbit speed.
I think they meant star system, not Galaxy. Alpha centauri is only three light years away from our solar system and it has three suns. English isn't this person's first language.
@@dylanhecker6686 Possibly, I haven't watched the movie. But even so, if Earth was originally orbiting the sun at like 30km/sec, it would still take 30,000 years to reach 3 lightyears away, unless it somehow accelerates. Maybe it will get lucky and fling off of Jupiter to shave off a few thousand years from that trip.
I like how the sun going out wasn’t enough of a major problem for them deal with but they also have to add that they’re out of fossil fuel and the majority of electricity is powered from solar energy.

Some people seem to think that fossil fuel doesn't apply to coal for some reason. Oh well, if some people nowadays are totally ignorant about how to make babies.... who am I to criticise the origin of coal in this movie?

The physics breaking of this movie took me out of this. The closest star to us other than the Sun is Proxima Centauri, and that's 25 trillion miles away. The earth is moving around the sun at 67,000 miles per hour. Even if we got launched out of orbit aimed directly at our nearest star, it would take over 15 million years to get there. geothermal energy, undergound vaults with hydroponics areas that supply food, and oxygen to the rest of it. For water just go to the surface and collect ice then use the heat of the geyser or whatever to melt it.

@@hotel_arcadia Yeah, but even if we're so impossibly lucky that we were aimed right at our nearest neighbouring solar system, Alpha Centauri, unless Earth's speed has somehow been increased by the event, it will take the Earth about 40,000 years to get there, and then getting caught in an orbit there is equally unlikely. Any other solar system would take even longer. For the Earth to leave the Milkyway galaxy and fly through intergalactic space and reach another galaxy would take hundreds of millions of years. Don't forget Bezos, wearing his blue jumpsuit and cowboy hat.
Congrats for 1m
The fact I'm watching this after just completing a project on solar energy for my social studies class is funny😄. love watching theses videos.
So who the f*ck blew up the sun?
Mugger: Yes.
Nobody blew it
It just disappeared
"packs instant noodles" crucial plot spoilers
Just tried listening to another guy, but I couldn’t, your voice is THE voice I need for recapped
This hits my heart so hard
I almost cried
That ending where they just magically reach a new Galaxy and will soon enter a trinary start system hit me like a ton of bricks
"Wandering Earth" is another Chinese movie where Earth is used to travel to another star. Why do Chinese script writers think this is good Sci-Fi? At least it is original.
@@Tore_Lund I’m late but I just wanna say, I watched Wandering Earth before and I actually enjoyed it. Minus the fact that it’s breaking logic lol
I find it somewhat humorous that the protagonist's first name is Sun.
and his last name is... also Sun in chinese
Sun sun
That's almost certainly intentional. 😛
can we take a minute to realise how much money this guy has saved us
"He lies and says he was making a U-turn"😂😂😂😂😂😂.. giving us everything
Now the question is, how did the CEO knew about the aliens and their technology, with his own communication technology exceeding the speed of light. I would think that's enough tech to at least know the basic fundamentals on how the aliens made the wormholes.
They ate them to spread corona
@@MyVishal98 lol
Considering the earth is heading towards a new home with 3 suns, is it possible the CEO caused the event to happen somehow to begin with? And is lying about how he's just gonna die?
That CEO is the biggest troll in human history. He has foreknowledge of the destruction of the sun and becomes a solar panel billionaire and gets most of China totally dependent on solar energy. Then he's like, "Welp, been fun, I'm off to my doomsday bunker." 😜
@@MyVishal98 😂😂🤣

The music in the beginning always makes me emotional idek why
That intro bgm always gets me
"Soon they will reach into their new home which has 3 Suns"
me: ah this must be somewhere near where planet namek should be
soon
10billion years to the closest start
@@bladerj well if we can have nuclear energy and later develop cold fusion besides our planet wont instantly freeze our core is not heated by the sun but by friction wich has nothing to do with the sun we would be as Europa and Ganimedee the only 2 moons where water is present in liquid form iced exterior and warm interior , besides our core will cool off in bilions of years so yeah we might survive that is if we dont hit anything on our way there , Andromeda is really fucking far (nearest galaxy ) also what is to say the suposaly aliens dont go there to get more stars from that galaxy also (they have wormwhole tech after all )
Plot Twist: This Earth is hurtled into another parallel universe, the dragon ball universe, but long before goku, or even kami was born. This Earth becomes Planet Namek, but all of it's technology is gone and they evolve into Namekians. The land, sea, sky, and other creatures also change with it.
The sky is so beautiful! It is my dream to go somewhere where I can see a night sky like this. How many of you guys had the luck of seeing a galaxy night sky???
Me too
go to somewhere that does not have a lot of artificial light aka those light poles and is sparsely population by humans.
Thats what i want too in indonesia the night sky is dark as heck bruh, i want to see it myself.
@@spypipi2714 lucky you! Where is that you live? Gotta be a amazing place!
@@AstroNovelist54 yes, I know. I live in Bangladesh where if you are lucky you will be able to see handful of blurry stars. Plus, when I look out of window all I can see is buildings...
I love this channel
People seem to be confusing the last line about them headed towards a different galaxy and that their new home will have three suns, implies that it is quite literally a galaxy with only three suns.
Only stupid people will think that smh
i really love this channel!!!!!!! this give me more info than actual movies.
Wow, humanity was so harming, even the physics decided to die
good one
"he too is an orphan"
*_Technoblade wants to know your location_*
Soon they'll reach their new home witch has 3 sun
Me: does 3 sun is basically set earth ablaze
😂😅😅😅😅😂😂😂😂 I thought the same thing.
Depends how close they end up to them
Witch sun lmao
Not quite. A livable trinary system is possible. Though probably only if the earth orbits one while the other two suns are distant orbiting each other

Wait, there some question remaining
if the Earth move at high speed without rotating what happen on the front surface?
How many Oxygen remaining until they can reach another solar system? The problem is not Power shortage here, but lack of Oxygen production. Yeah sure your electricity is down, you still can light candle. Then what will you do if you run out of Oxygen?
Algae, electrolysis, algae, more algae.
Did I mention the main producers of oxygen, algae?
Geotermal power plant create electricity and light a lamp and shine to plant or algae
We were barely surviving with one sun alone because of the solar rays and such, I'm sure after freezing so much earth wouldn't be strong enough to survive against 3 suns considering we don't even know the size of these stars
broo i started watching these one time and never stopped good shit
Same lol
Same..they somehow addictive 😂💔💯💯👻
