Atlantis the Lost Continent Trailer Widescreen

Here's the colorful trailer for George Pal's fantasy, "Atlantis, the Lost Continent" from 1960. Filled with stock footage from "Quo Vadis," stock sets and costumes, bad head gear, and over-top-acting, (John Dall, what were you thinking?), I love this goofy, badly written movie. I was 12 in 1960 when it came out, the perfect age to see it. Unfortunately, I didn't see it until many years later when I was a little more discriminating. I've reconstructed the trailer in widescreen using the DVD-R from Warner Archive. As so often happens with trailers, some of the scenes were alternate takes not on the DVD. I got as close as I could. (The montage of magazine covers seems to be the only scene shot specifically for the trailer.) Titles and wipes are Adobe Premiere approximations.
