- Hey guys! I exist again!
I normally do Avatar AMVs but I recently got into soul eater and well...I really felt like I needed to make one for Maka and Soul! They are awesome!
I like to make videos with the least amount of flashy editing as possible and instead really focus on the clips and general mood of it. I spent a lot of time with practically every clip in this video and in the end I would definitely say it payed off. Thank you so much for watching and I hope you enjoy it!

It's been so long since I first saw this amv (with soul eater playing such a huge part in my life) and Light up the Sky became my favorite song ever and it's just so strange to go back after all this time and feel this strange disconnect/ connect with the much more optimistic, simplistic and youtful person I used to be back then

Almost 10 years since I saw this AMV for the first time!!!
I started the series but got stuck on ep 2. After watching this though, I was like: 'oh god I have to see all this SoulxMaka scenes', so I did it xDD In other words: this video made me watch Soul Eater. I watched this amv like 4 years ago now... Nostalgia...
this just fits them so right, it's not overdone but neither are Soul and Maka, they are just who they are and you showed that perfectly, they may not be perfect but they're perfect for each other
I'm watching this at 4 in the mornin and I loved it so much that I started fangirling and almost woke up my parents upstairs!
Maka and Soul are one of those anime couples that are so perfect no matter how much you want one of them you cant split them up, even in your mind!
When I started watching Soul Eater, I never even suspected that Soul and Maka would come to be one of my favorite anime couples ever :)

@attitude7788 Absolutely! So very true! The fact that he risks his life for her and doesn't think twice about saying what he thinks to her makes this clear as well! Soul and Maka are a fantastic pairing!
Yeah, it's a pretty awesome song. I wasn't really that into yellowcard until I started making amvs... The flow of their songs are always just so easy to use.

this is a great amv... soul eater is one of my all time favorites. great choice of song, but the best part is how you make it fit perfectly so that anyone can see it and fall instantly in love... well done. this is one of my 2 favorite soul eater amvs.

This is such a nice amv! Through Soul Eater videos I've been browsing, I find that usually the slideshows are the more romantic ones, because there really is no kissing in the real anime. However, that is not the case with yours. It felt that there didn't need to be any smooching, because the love felt so real. You timed the clips and the music perfectly, so you can tell that they are in love. Also, this song is practically MADE for SoulXMaka!

Yeah I totally agree with that. I love videos that have effects and such but too much time is often put into them and not into the feeling of the AMV.

A good thing about soul eater that they have hinted SoulxMaka pair but its without the arkward scenes and its just kinda there and not taking a huge part of the show but stills is valid part ;)

@bloodbrather101 I've wondered that too!! Maybe they have a bunch of identical outfits in their closet like Spongebob. xD And Maka changes clothes for occasions. So does Soul. Heck, they all change clothes for different situations. It's just always the same fighting outfit.
