    From Microsoft 365 Insider blog:
    "Don’t have it yet? It’s probably us, not you.
    Features are released over some time to ensure things are working smoothly. We highlight features that you may not have because they’re slowly releasing to larger numbers of Insiders. Sometimes we remove elements to further improve them based on your feedback. Though this is rare, we also reserve the option to pull a feature entirely out of the product, even if you, as an Insider, have had the opportunity to try it. "

    When are these features actually supposed to roll out? Great there’s a cool tutorial. But sucks that it hasn’t been rolled out to things like my personal 365 liscense or my work liscense.

    1:00 When something is Boolean (True or False) you don't need to test if is True or False, so, instead IF(A2=True, ... you can just put IF(A2, ...

    But once again, very few of these are available for Excel 365 for Mac, even though the subscription price is the same as for the Windows version.

    Thanks for sharing this! Do the latest features always roll out to the online version first?

    It's been 3 months.
    My Office365 still doesn't have the 'Cell Controls' feature in the 'Insert' ribbon.
    Any idea when everyone will have this?

    things like checkboxes and images in cells continue to blur the lines between Excel and Microsoft list. I think the average person has no idea how to use Lists including me.

      Agreed, there's a lots of MS tools that seem to overlap. I was thinking about Microsoft loop too

      Yeah.... why waiting soooo long with pictures IN cells and well managed checkboxes in desktop version of Excel when Lists exist at last...? Haaaa Microsoft 🙄🤪😁

    What is the function to get the number count of each diff data in an excel sheet? For example, i have a bunch of names, this function will tell me how many times John, Brian, or David appear in the excel sheet 🤷‍♂️

    • @cryptoico2647
      @cryptoico2647 Před 9 měsíci

      Or just get all the names and show how many times

    • @timemerick733
      @timemerick733 Před 9 měsíci

      @@cryptoico2647 You might consider using =UNIQUE(range) to get a unique list of names then use COUNTIF or COUNTIFS to count those names in the original range.

    • @too-litbosco60
      @too-litbosco60 Před 8 měsíci +1

      I think Countif will do for you. Just do =countif (specify range where the names you are counting is located, then specify the cell where the name is located)

    So when are these new features rolling out? They are completely useless for home and work if everyone’s machine does not have them. On a sidenote, I think this is the third video I’ve seen explaining new features without an actual release date. If you’re gonna take the time to show us these wonderful things then you may wanna wait until you have a release date so that people don’t bombard you with the same question again and again.

    Instead of "New Features" I would like to see Excel solve a couple of huge problems, such as the undulterated mess between the formatting of TEXT and NUMBER, as well as Excel not saviing my formulae after I save them.
    I am really starting to miss Lotus 1 2 3 a lot.....
