So the reason the game said you didn’t grind the plane is that every challenge in that event is a camera spot, and you complete the side challenge by going through the camera spot. For the plane grind, you had the right idea grinding the empennage ( the tail of the plane ) but the camera spot is more at the top. In order to reach it, you have to ramp off the plane onto the building behind it, and then you’ll be able to jump off, onto the top of the empennage, and get the shot. Hope this is helpful!
