This unique and versatile property, is in a small hamlet within easy walking distance of the charming village of Vila Facaia. It offers two separate houses and a central stone living space, with access to the leisure area, pool and outbuildings, and views to the immediate countryside. The layout of the property allows a variety of styles of living. The living areas lend themselves to occupation by a large family, or for holiday rental, or a combination! The main access to the property (which is walled and fenced) is through double gates opening into a rustic courtyard. The first house, to the right, is two storey; ground floor entrance to living room with door to passageway, off which is a bathroom/laundry, continues to a kitchen/dining area. Stairs lead from the living room to two bedrooms and another bathroom.
Back into the courtyard is access to the second, semi-detached, house. This has a ground floor office space, bedroom and shower room, and large, understair storage cupboard. Upstairs is a double bedroom and a second bathroom, with stunning roll top bath tub. A veranda is accessed from the landing.
In the centre of the whole property, is a stone dwelling which stands between the houses and the leisure/pool area, with side access. This third building has a traditional rustic feel, being one big room with open fireplace, high ceilings, stone walls and a fully fitted kitchen. There are two entrances, one from the courtyard, the other leading to the barbeque, leisure and pool area, all overlooking olive groves of the Portuguese countryside.
To the left of the outside leisure area, there are two workshops/storage areas (one with WC). The garden area to the left of and below the pool, has a grassed and planted area, vegetable garden, well, animal shed and septic tank. The leisure area has an alternative gated access, and there is a gate between the courtyard and the side access to the pool.
The whole property sits on 730m2 of urban land and is connected to mains water and electricity, with fibre optic internet.
Vila Facaia is part of Pedrógão Grande but also close to the town of Figueiro dos Vinhos. Both towns offer schools, doctors, health centres, banks, supermarket. There are river beaches close by. Porto and Lisbon are both around 2 hours drive away. A drive to the coast is about 1 hour.
So much to offer with this unusual house. I'd live in the first house and keep the rest for guests and entertaining. The separate outdoor kitchen is incredible. I have a small stone house and now I want to build this same separate kitchen for myself! With the pool, the patios and the private courtyard you'd never want to leave. I think that the price is reasonable for what you get and you can walk to town which is a big plus for a rural property. Fabricio's videos are improving every time, good job. 😊

I love this house. I remember seeing this before and I watched the video more than once, then I went straight out to buy a lottery ticket. I'm amazed it's still on the market.

I had only a flash back on the covered area, but that was similar to an other one. For the rest I did not recognize it. Neither the name of the village. Anyway. The cameraman still has to learn there is a reason guys go first upwarts a stair. I'm not so interested in bumps.

I'm almost positive this is the same home showed on Destino Portugal about a year ago. Really makes you wonder why it never sold. The lack of a proper indoor kitchen could explain it, but I think it must be more than that.

Well I certainly think it's great to have the washer in the bathroom where it belongs or in a separate laundry area I mean who wants dirty filthy clothes shaken out in the kitchen who knows what on your clothes!! and I definitely don't want all that on my counters where I'm cooking dirt and dust yuck !!in my kitchen I think washers in kitchens is a yucky idea 😅

I agree, this house is located in one of most deserted regions of Portugal, it has only a density of 26,3 hab./km². So 220k is way too expensive.
