  • I stayed at the Shinjuku Kuyakusho-mae Capsule Hotel(新宿区役所前カプセルホテル). This may have been one of the worst accommodation experiences I've ever had.
    Good points
    ・Location
    ・Price
    Bad points
    ・The building smells (everywhere)
・The guests are not good (80%- are Foreign tourists)
・Many foreigners here have bad manners
    ・It's noisy at night
・You have to be careful not to get your things stolen
    ・The bath floor is slippery
・The bath temperature is the coldest I've ever had
・You can't adjust the room temperature (it was hot even in May)
・Even if you stay multiple nights, you have to check out at 10am every day
・It still smells when you wake up in the morning
★Price: 4,061 yen (at the time of stay)

    the sock was so funny.
so basically there was no airflow in the capsules? i would be afraid to suffocate in there.

The socks were probably a gift from someone.😏 Nice surprise, right?
there was no airflow in the capsule. It was hot even in May, so I don't think I'll be able to sleep in the summer. And it would smell even worse.

We also stayed here and its true, reception smells like feet haha, the capsule has no airflow, the luggages are scattered everywhere and the elevator closes while you are still entering lol but location is good so it’s okay for 1 night stay.

Thank you for your video review. I'm glad I watched it. I read a few articles where Shinjuku Kuyakusho-mae Capsule Hotel was actually recommended! Out of curiosity, did you mean Nine Hours bought the Shinjuku Kuyakusho-mae Capsule Hotel at 6:01? And what did the sign in 16:53 say in English?
