I just changed from V-core 98 to wilson shift pro and it feels good in all parts of the court to me. I'm not saying V-core is bad but I found more CONTROL with wilson without losing spin (as you agreed) I think wilson juat fits me better now (I'm intermediate/ advance player) ... Good video guys!
I have just recently tested the Shift. And I must honestly say that the Shift 300 really had enough power at its disposal. Due to the spin also controllable power. Also the sweetspot was no problem at all and big enough. Maybe it has something to do with the string and stringbed stiffness after all? The Shift feels different than most other racquets from my perspective, especially when the hitting point fits. There's something about the racquet that feels really cool. What it is exactly, however, I can not describe. Maybe it really is the flex in the lateral direction?
I recently changed to Shift from Prostaff V14. The control, feel and spin are much better than Prostaff. Strung at 45 lbs with Poly it gives relatively good power and volley without sailing the ball out. Serve power and spin are better.
You should have compared the Vcore 98 to the Shift as the Shift has more of a traditional oval hoop and smaller sweet spot, and beam width means its closer to a 98 than the traditional 100. The Shift also has a very low swingweight so needs maybe 2-4g in the hoop, which again takes it towards Vcore98 in terms of weight / swingweight. Also as a suggestion when you do this videos don't say "THIS does XYZ, THIS one is better at XYZ" etc. Say the name of the racquet because people actually listen to your videos in the car, train etc, and they may not be looking at the screen.
Hello, great videos. Would you be able to tell me what is the better racket 2023 vcore 100 vs percept 100? Don’t know if you had a chance to hit the percept 100 as of yet. Not the 100 D. I figure less power on the percept. Would be great to see a comparison video of the vcore, percept 100 and possibly the ezone 100. Thank you

Strange because Shift Pro is 18/20
I have just purchased vcore 100. I’ve been using shift for 4 months. And a bit regret purchasing vcore. Shift fits me better. So much easier to use.

Great comparison. Just a question for confort which one is better ?
what string and tension did you use for both of the rackets?

Which version of the shift?
Would be nice to compare the vcore 100 with the percept 100. And the shift 99 300 with the blade 100. Anyway nice video!

Thanks for the advice. Actually had no idea that people sometimes listened to videos rather than watch them 🤷🏽♂️
Making sure the video works as audio only would be really useful. I 'listen' to alot of CZcams videos on the way to work @@ph-tennis
@@carolineh1845 great to know! We’ll work on it!
@@carolineh1845 me too
You should cover string break intervals. Have used both and the VCore goes through strings much more quickly

Percept Has less power, less spin, better controll and better feel, its also less stiff. And i say percept moves faster thanks to thiner frame
Percept 100D by far (my personal opinion)
Good review. My question for you is : what racket is the best for a senior double player? Thanks.
I'd suggest the VCore because to us, it feels more stable at the net (volleying)
Great review
Bravo,,🌌👁️🙌🔥👏🏼👏🏽💯
