Jennifer Crumbley was so busy having an affair, hiding that from her husband, owning and riding horses, working at her job to keep benefits for herself but not her child, that she just didn't care about Ethan. His problems were just a mild inconvenience for her and she didn't take them seriously because she was so distracted.

Fair enough. But does that make her guilty? How's she to know the kid was going to go all funny in the head and kill people? Like you say, she was not there. Plenty of parents are "not there."

Definitely. I was watching the miller hearing and the older things shown of her i was shocked when i saw the beginning of her trial - i didnt think it was her at first from what i had seen prior. It also reminds me of how Letecia Stauch looked before the atrocity she chose to commit vs after a couple years locked up awaiting trial. Same with Lori Vallow, what they were able to even show of her (no cameras during trial except at the end) and WOW. I imagine jail, committing crimes, and being what the majority consider a bad person really ages you quickly and I don’t think any amount of retinol can reverse that.

Don't need to give credibility to either. Facts meet law and the jury will decide if they meet up for a guilty plea and if they don't -not guilty. As to the Judge, she doesn't need it either. Jennifer should NOT trust her counsel. Of course, her boyfriend would cover for her, especially as he would not want his wife to know. And all that is stated is that the boyfriend added a little bit more information each time he was questioned. That is not making someone change their story. That is the police getting more of the story. HUGE mistake, as the jury will no doubt see this as being part of the negligence towards her son, as she was more interested in her own love life.

Right?? Her attorney is terrible. She is the one that allowed all of this in. Maybe something will make it beneficial to them at the end but as of now, I see it as completely irrelevant to a defense. All it does is further show her lack of focus to her son. I don’t think anyone cares whether the witness was pressured by detectives or not. It’s showing her behavior and character far more than any facts for a defense. She cared about her own personal life. Her horses and her side pieces. Despite her son literally asking her to text back. And I get it, parents get overwhelmed. But their defense seems to be “everyone is a liar, I’m right, I didn’t pull the trigger”. Read the room. They’re trying to make an example out of you. Watch Johnny depps trial. Never claimed to be a perfect human. We all struggle. But their tactics scream delusion.

Doesn’t even confirm with her client before she does it either. Even if she manages to prove these officers are found to have intimidated or threatened the witness, (which is hard when she can’t even name the detectives,) that does not free Ms Crumbley of any negligence. It’s just going to prove that she was having an affair instead of being with her family, telling her she needed to do things for her son so she can leave work to go cheat some more, etc.
