Thanks for the video! Its hard to find reviews for 2012 F800GS suspension upgrades. Also, i am more concerned about my off road performance and your vid is perfect for me. I am getting Adreani front fork cartridges. What oil and weight would you recommend using?
Hi, glad to hear! Actually I didn't do the work by myself. I did send the forks to a company (NCCR in Sweden) ho did the switch! However they used the Öhlins Road & Track High Performance Oil and the spring was fitted for my weight + some extra kilos for luggage. Good luck 👍
I would say that the front is extremely soft as original -at least my 2012. So yes, the first thing I would recommend is to change cartridge in front or the much cheeper option only change to harder springs! Good luck!
d1977j hi! Well, everything I would say! Totally new handling of the bike! Forks up to 2012 are fitted with Marzocchi but they are very soft and boring as well. First of all the spring is right for my weight (but still you can adjust the spring preload if heavy loaded) Than on top of that you have a fully adjustable fork but since i ride both on road and off road I think the standard settings seems good to me!

Hi! I can recommend Andreani cartridge if the cost isn't a problem. Of course it will be cheaper to only shift to harder springs in the fork but will you keep the bike for a time maybe it isn't that expensive with andreani, still it's cheaper than öhlins cartridge! Bm043 in the back is a bit soft and cheap from öhlins but it will do. The bike is heavy when you push it offroad 😂

More diference on front with andreanini or in back with olhins? Better to change in front first?

Since stock wp fork is already very soft and plush, what did improve with andreani?
