Motorcycle sidecar racing 1976

motorcycle sidecar racing .....a film made up out of 3 parts. ..the first 2mins had no soundtrack so I have added some electronic music , THEN the sound kicks in, the first section of the film looks like the same event however the last part is earlier .
the original description says 1976, it also says Brands hatch , but looks suspiciously like the Isle of Mann . ,These short films are often out takes and end up wrongly labelled.
source is not known but these look like pathe outakes

Hello dear Jack Flash 😀 Excellent video 👍 Nice to see cool guys with the fast motorcycles😎 this sort of the motorsport in my country developed mostly in the big and rich town's like Moscow, Kiev , Leningrad and republic's near the Baltic sea( Latvia, Estonia )... 🤪 On the mass motorsport well developed only carting and motocross 😋 and in 80s...90s began attack of the Japanese motorcycles and engine's 🍄 as i know British sportmotorcycles NORTON and GREEVZ also were successful before the Japanese import👍😁🎂 All the best ❤

Hello my friend, pleased you liked the film, those Japanese engines rev so high they actually scream don't they, not like the reassuring sound of a BSA or Triumph or Norton , the guys in the sidecars really know their stuff, I think there's still a strong following in Britain for this kind of racing. 😀

Hi Jack. Did they stop side car racing, wasn't there a few deaths with sidecar men. Never see that sort of racing did watch it years ago. But fantastic to see it again. Thank you for finding all these great snipits..👍👍🥂

I think it's still going Bob, I used to drive a triumph with side car back in the sixtys so know how they handle, hats off to those guys.

Nice video, I enjoyed your dubbed over soundtrack at the start - it fitted rather well but ended abruptly. I hope you don't think I am being rude but fading it out would have worked better). Really enjoyed the video and thank you for your efforts

Yes perhaps it would of been better but I thought that a sudden switch into the noise of the bikes oh and the fact I haven't quite found a way to fade on this editor

I used to ride a triumph 650 with a side car, not racing a road bike, it takes a bit of getting used to after solo

Yes you are probably right , these outtakes are often wrongly labelled, they had the location wrong as well,
