Instruction on playing all of the major and minor scales on the 5 string banjo. PDF static1.squarespace.com/stati... Book www.amazon.com/SCALES-ARPEGGI...
John, I’ve been a big fan of your work for years. Just heard you on the Picky Fingers podcast! Any chance you are going to create that arpeggio lesson? You are helping me play some of the music I have stuck in my brain- thank you for the inspiration!
Hi Dan - thanks for the comment. I have it on my list! In the meantime, the arpeggios are all written out in my scales & arpeggios book so you can get a head start : )
@@1959banjo Thanks for the quick reply! I’ve got the book and practiced them, and they are kicking my tail in the best of ways. It is super helpful to hear you play them so that I can work on timing and tone. So I look forward to them! Keep up the great work! I caught on of your concerts in Purcellville and was blown away.
Thanks for that video. I like that shifting on the 3rd string....
So glad to see another lesson in this series! Planning to pick up your books, but the videos are a great resource, too. Hope to see more!
