Now put the same eye tracker on an online lobby. This should be fun
The bubble of the eye tracker is going to be all over the screen
try it with the Eyeware Beam eye tracker as well. you can use the head tracking to move the in-game camera too 👍
@@BeamEyeTracker but why…
@@nedrosiof1 to have a VR-like feeling of immersion. try it out!
@@Ak-bj2qd My (Tobii Eye Tracker) works this way: You do not see the blue bubble all over your screen. That is something you enable in the settings for viewers to see. Simple as that.
Are we gonna ignore that insane divebomb by Mick Schumacher in 3:35?
That was not even a divebomb, it was a full kamikaze.
HOLY COWWW THE OVERTAKE BY MICK 3:33
FRRRR
That was awesome to watch, it’s crazy to see how much your eyes move during just one lap let alone a whole race, would definitely love to see some more tracks with the eye tracker, brilliant content 👌
Today: Watching last to first in Jeddah on F1 game
Tomorrow: Watching (almost)last to first in Jeddah in real life
🦁🦁
Magic Max
Unless engine go bang bang
He may have a penalty yet so could be the back, but if he was at the very back I bet he’d definitely be at the front and potentially still win by the end
@@iwanevans607 Why would he have a penalty
@@los_blancos4499 to replace parts is my best guess but idk
watching this in 0.25 speed on every corner is actually such a learning curve 😂
it's interesting to see where you look for sure but also for me very stressful for some reason seeing that thing move around all the time lol
love how Jarno's fastest lap was faster than the fastest lap in Q3 at this years GP
I mean, they're barely comparable, no? One is a video game with questionable realism (despite our best wishes) and the other is real life.
With the track changes, this year's real life track is slightly slower than the old one in the game
Jarno’s so smooth and in-control of the car that it can sometimes look slow… right up until you see the lap times he’s hitting.
This is immensely educational. I used eye tracking at one point for research purposes and I can tell how well trained your focus is and how it helps you control the car. For example, when you catch the car getting loose by your focus on the apex of the turn you wanted to nail, or the way you look "past" blind corners to know you're getting a late apex before a long straight.
Amazing stuff, thank you for using your time playing F1 games to teach some of us how to be better drivers. Must feel a lot better than racing in a field where some people seem to be taking other approaches to getting faster...
5 am bed though, our brain is just calculating so much information and coordination with feet eye hand for the wheel, pedals, eyes going left, right, apex, hud.. idk it’s fascinating
would be pretty interesting to see an eye tracker in a F1 esport race where you have to be way more focused and its more difficult
Fascinating. Eye always on the next corner - more of this, please!
That was really interesting to see where you are looking now what i would like to see if it's possible, which will possibly be on the next F1 game is to put an eye tracker in a league race to see how focused you are at a high level
Amazing idea having an eye tracker, thanks for the insight!... and mindblowing the way you drive!
long awaited video. Been wanting to see this for ages.
Could you please show us the diffrents of your lap times between TV and POV cam would be intresting to see if or how this effects the lap times 😊
That was very insightful thanks jarno
Thank you for doing this, I'm in the current process on getting better on f1 and I'm struggling to understand why I'm not gaining time, this will for sure help me where I need to be looking.
Honestly i also got stuck at 82 ai in some tracks im really good so in Aston Martin im top 3 by Q3 and finish the race first place but in other laps like monaco and abu dhabi im last though today i Finally hit top 10 in abu dhabi i realized it all comes down to setup and the number 1 guy in the leaderboards setup might not work for you because of different driving style so it makes you slower while others work better depending on driving style so change your setup play with it and you will most likely find lap time iv gained 1-2 seconds by setup in abu though took me 2 hours of constant changing lap after lap
@@scottj.s1648 if you are at 82 ai its not the setup, i mean the setup is important but with the setup you find in TT even if doesnt “suit” you shouldnt be at 81, theres way more to learn before thinking about the setup
@@scottj.s1648 thank you for the tip because to be honest I do that, I look at jarno or wilson or any esports driver and copy their setup, I know how the setup MFD works but I thought that wouldn't gain me time, I'll do this and come back to see if I have found any results
u should think about setup when you can drive against 100 ai with normal setup, not win, you just need to be able to follow them
That's really interesting to see more of this!
I like how he used the box graphic and the distance marker on the HUD to line up on the grid, never seen of that before. Guess it depends on FOV etc
Its crazy how much the brain is processing.
i agree, jeddah is a ton of fun when you are good at it
This man must be a chef, he is always cooking
Im not joking, yesterday i was like “ahhh I wish jarno had some eye tracker video to see where he looks and maybe i can improve”
I love jarno opmeer
That overtake by Norris was filthy tbf
Binham taking notes on where to look so that he doesn't get damage
Never stared at an apex longer LMFAOO
bro i just search this yesterday n now u made this vid 🗿🗿
Is nobody gonna talk about Mick Schumacher's near triple overtake at 3:32
Most impressive for me is that you actually use the mirrors on the car. And not just use the white/red arrows from the game.
"look where you want to go and the car will go there"
1:16 What u looking at there? 🤨
That was awesome to watch
Please do more of eyes tracker 🙏 it’s give so much in learning
Jeddah is my favorite track as well!
Thank u for sharing this with us.
Look there, go there.
Eye tracker is wild
Lewis Hamilton: Still We Rise
Jarno Opmeer: We're still cooking
This Looks like the hardest Osu Level i can imagine
Love the eye tracker
Mate, u see the apex for a long time, if I see the apex for a long time, I crash XD
Sincerely, your perspective is incredible, hi from Mexico, btw 🇲🇽🫡
Time to update the catchphrase from “we’re cooking” to “we’re looking”
I wanna see Jarno use the Eye Tracker when hotlapping. I reckon it'd be slightly different to what we see here.
He cooking
Jarno Goatmeer
Thats cool!
Just need to add narration to it and add it to F1 23 as a in game tutorial 👍 Will help people understand why their car doesn’t turn like they think it should
Do you also see the bubble while playing, or is that just moved to a seperate recording?
@Jarno Opmeer can you do a "beat the Q3" post after each irl qualifying this race? I think maybe you must use another sim. I don't remember the name but there are F1 cars in one of them. Maybe possible with the F1 game also if you adjust some settings and do variable cars?
Very good video🔥
bro the video was out tor 2 minutes and it's 17 minutes long
pov: max verstappen every race he starts below p1
Yo, Jarno, can you paste this eye track over any image? I want to use it on stream but I use a camera to show a cockpit view and my monitors, rather than a game capture. Haven't seen if this can be done, or not.
thomas ronhaar needs this to see if he actually looks at apex's with his time cuz he misses the apex 90% of the time and still be ahead lmao
took bro 9 laps.... damn
It's helpful seeing just how much up the track you are looking, not at your tyres but the apexs ☕😊
Do you see the eye tracker "blob" when you're playing or is it putting that in afterwards for our benefit?
CookingAI
Hi Jarno, can you share your simucube settings? I checked the online profiles but can't find a good f1 22 profile for my simucube wheelbase.
Now put an eye tracker on Ronhaar and see which settings he changes
Bro, my guy set a fastest lap, 2 tenths faster than 2023 pole time
Het is echt grappig Jarno want je hoort gewoon je Nederlandse accent😂
siuuuu greetings from germany
Wait.... you have your camera so that you can see the delta on the steering wheel?
When do you do Last to first with virtual reality?
Fun fact: His eye track is probably similar to yours
the lower wings you have the more charge you get for ers???
Eye tracking count challenge. Blue circle at APEX
Nice
"Loosey goosey" ?! Is Jarno secretly playing Poker? :D
Jarno Robotmeer
Thanks for speaking out about you know what. We appreciate the risk you're taking. A true Champion leads
What is you know what? Im out of the loop on this one
@@SteezyNagata Thomas Ronhaar! Look it up, and then you'll understand👍
Now they need to get a "cheater tracker" so that they can get rid of cheaters xD
Am I the only one that finds using the yellow line easier when parking in the grid slot?
If u dq in qualifying u are at back even if others don’t set a lap
If you set the game up to skip qualifying, you can select which starting position you would like to start from.
Can u use headtracker also, to make it look a like VR?
Pov: you are max verstappen tomorrow
why are pros not playing from inside the cockpit cam?
“no rules around..” with eye tracker?
Shouldnt the camera follow they ey tracker?
Alternative title: Verstappen tomorrow be like:
Lmao
You should go into F1
good contents 🎉🎉
Verstappen tomorrow be like
FR
POV: Max Verstappen this past weekend.
How the hell does any eye tracker work 💀
POV: Verstappen tomorrow
A quick question I wanted to ask for a while: why does so much player use the halo camera instead of the in-cockpit camera when they want to play realist?
Because on a single screen monitor you can't see 💩 in cockpit cam
@@jarnoopmeer even with a TIR or the eye tracking? But yeah, at least that answers that, thanks!
i thought the eye tracker would move the camera while jarno was using the cockpit camera
What is your setup at this circut?
8:17 Jarno pulled the UNO reverse card on the AI
Csicska vagy
you should get track ir
Surprised you dont use the eye tracker to pan your view to the left and right on your screen.
I thought that's what this video was going to be. Cockpit view quasi-vr thing.
irl max takes you out if you are faster than him
what is your Steering wheel ?
I got my first rig ever and now all my instincts are wrong (I’m 4 seconds off than I usually would be on controller). Can you tell me how it is you’re braking without locking up and how you’re turning without hurting your wrist?
