This video covers an introduction into the functional anatomy of prokaryotic cells for General Microbiology (Biology 210) at Orange Coast College (Costa Mesa, CA).
Watching this because I’n currently in microbiology and I like watching yours in correspondence with my professors! You go more in depth and it makes it easier to understand! 🥰
wow, you're amazing at explaining everything so clearly! i have my first exam for micro tomorrow and I was stuck reading slides and couldn't understand anything. but then I looked up micro on youtube and you made everything make so much sense. God bless!
We are lucky to have you. It's so understandable and easy to listen when you explain. Information just sticks to the brain automatically. Thank you so much . I wish we had more professors like you .
Dr. Julie Wells, 🙏 THANK YOU for being available to me to learn microbiology you have made this topic not ONLY easy to understand, but very interesting! I am a student at a community college in Buffalo NY and we wish we had a professor as knowledgeable and personable as you! You are amazing and I love your videos about microbiology!! THANK YOU SO MUCH
I really hope you are getting paid extra for this! This is so helpful. I’m a visual learner so the slides and explanations are the best. I have a 7am microbiology class so I’m never awake enough to pay attention.
Hi Dr Wells, I'd just like to throw my appreciation on the pile. Thanks for taking the time to make and share these excellent resources. Your voice is very easy to listen to which helps a lot. Thanks again
Thanks for the thorough explanation about the topic. Really your lectures are the most useful and easy to understand. Special characteristics of your teaching is that you explain crucial terms in details. 🌏🌎🌏
@@dr.juliewells3703 You deserve a professor of the year award, you take micro and break it down into a way that an elementary school student would be able to follow. Sad I didn't have your lectures for A&P haha. Would have made my life so much easier :D
Exactly.”Down the concentration gradient” Finally get it. After many opportunities to be taught, or to learn myself :/ it didn’t happen until this lovey instructor
Thank you so much for this. I am at self studying institution and this is more information than my textbook provides yet it is so easy to understand and efficient.
Thank you for this informative lecture. I am really proud of you; you are a young smart and a great teacher. I hope you live a happy and healthy live. God bless you
Is there any way I can get the slides of the presentation, so I can add notes while listening to the lectures? Absolutely love them, currently preparing for my Microbiology exam. Thanks!
Hello Dr. Wells! I am very grateful for your videos. They are very good and you explain very well. I am only wondering, in the case of Gram negative bacteria, is the periplasmic space (the fluid between the inner and the outer membrane) is what we call is simple terms the cell Wall?
I am in awe of your studies, please teach me how to unblock The sodium-potassium pump is an active transport pump that exchanges sodium ions for potassium ions. My fight is multiple myeloma, diagnosed 2/2013 never treatment of any kind, nor no pain meds. My husband left me in April 2021 because I wouldn't get the vaccine. At that time I was not producing rbc and wbc, currently im told my kidney tubules are being damaged. I still believe in my immune system, even as I see it failing. But I believe what I put in my body, mind and soul plays a foundation of my well being.

Can someone tell me why “Black” people are single cell organisms and every other Asian, Arab and Caucasian etc race’s are not?? Why do we have Prokaryotic cells and all others have Eukaryotic cells🤔
