    Let me tell you that you look to buy property in Greece in the wrong way i will tell you how to do it correctly, go to your Empassy and ask them to introduse you to the lowers and then going through REMAX like the Israelis, the Chines and many others to find a property, Then when you buy you must pay some small fees to the agents that is 1,5% from the total price not more than that, All the aeries they get a Square meter price that is easy to find them even using CHAT GPT and then you must start the nagosiations

      Dear Costa,
      Our lawyers are based in Athens mostly. Please note that the main job is made by the notaries in Greece. Also the estate agents that are trading locally could recommend you to someone on the island.

    Hi Valeria My question is there anything special other than a Passport for me to have if I am interested in purchasing a BnB property there and how the tax rate is determined and what it would be? Would that be similar to having or being a Tax Resident ? Also would
    I be required to spend a certain living there or can I have it managed from a distance at my home not in Greece ?

    • @frunzevaleria8167

      In Greece you can invest and get a golden visa ( residency permit that will allow you to travel and be in all Schengen region.
      At the moment you need to invest 500k euro ( you can buy one or 2 or 5 properties with this budget) there are several regions in Greece which are underdeveloped and the government is offering a discount of 250k golden visa investment.
      Property income tax is 15% if your rental income is below 12k.
      Yes you can leave somewhere else

    • @frunzevaleria8167
      @frunzevaleria8167  Před rokem +1

      Hi
      You need a passport, a tenancy agreement and a bill confirming the address.
      And sometimes a work contract.

      @@frunzevaleria8167is it true you can no longer purchase a home for cash? How do I buy it, I don't use banks.

    • @frunzevaleria8167
      @frunzevaleria8167  Před 2 měsíci

      Not necessarily, but us better if you do, as it will be easier to operate on bill payments, rental income and other activities.

    • @frunzevaleria8167
      @frunzevaleria8167  Před 2 měsíci

      @@SutterKrump you will still need proof of income and whatever you agree with the seller. Also cash was never a preferred payment method in Greece and any other civilised countries.
      To be on a safe side you might want to consider using back accounts. And it is not safe to carry fisica cash nowadays.
      It is always good to innovate.

    • @SutterKrump
      @SutterKrump Před 2 měsíci

      @@frunzevaleria8167 but I don't use banks, I've never had a bank account. I only use cash and I will use cash to buy property. So it's possible then?
