i hate ppl tlk about stategy the market doesnt move because of a stategy
Don't be a hater. No one said the market MOVES because of a strategy. BUT, the market is very repetitive and strategies help you catch those repetitive moves. It can be as simple as, break and retest. When the market breaks a structure/level, wait for it to return to that level then get in. That's a strategy. It's not supposed to move the market.
6 years in I don't listen to much strategy talk, theres plenty of traders that I am sure are legit but they will say things as an absolute, like "trade less and make more" "don't trade during these times" etc etc etc. I'm in a trade almost 24/7 on any time frame from as low as the 5m all the way up to 4h. Or they swear that you have to use support and demand, volume etc. Not at all, most of my trades are dumb fire after I set them, I don't use RR at all and I don't do partials or take profit. ICT isn't really anything special, it's just a toolbox with a bunch of things that you could learn anywhere else if you want. I love listening to sophisticated instutional people tell me what isn't capable only to get up and do it again the next day. Once you see the same patterns over and over you realize most of the terminology is unnecessary. I don't mark my charts at all anymore, I don't even look at what the market did past the last week honestly. A strategy is just a lense to view the market in so you don't go insane in the act of securing profits, someone can think completely different about it and still make money.

That said, I think it’s very sad that he would tell us toward the end of the show that a prop firm would deny him two of his $200k accounts without a legitimate reason (basically he got scammed), but then not tell us which company it is. He should want the rest of us to not get scammed by them either!! In any case, I guess he has his reasons 😑 great show anyway. I’m a new sub. Have you had any women traders on the show?

@armaniwright6010 I trade futures. Just to get on NQ you need a minimum of 1,000 bucks just to trade 1 contract. Or go prop firm route. I'm not sure what instrument you can put 7 bucks into something and come out $1,000.00

Respectfully... it's not contracts in forex, it's lot sizes and there is alot more lot sizes to choose to get your risk exactly where you want it. Risk management is much easier in forex
