That injury does suck, I've had both my shoulders dislocated before on numerous occasions since I was in high school (at least 10 times on both arms, more significant my right arm than the left). I still play sports, football being the main one, and not so much basketball, and it's practically come second nature of the movements I avoid doing in order to not dislocate my shoulder, which means I can't play too hard, or jus eliminates some of the stuff you can do in a sport like grabbing rebounds, or heading the soccer ball, anything that will put my shoulder in a vulnerable place. Anyways, it's actually very easy to put back in as long as you can bare the pain, as it usually pops back in. For me, I like to have some space where people aren't near me like how your teammates were around you. In a situation where you dislocate your shoulder, don't panic, and breathe as it allows your body to be at ease and not in a tension state, try to push your hand as close to your body as possible, and if you can, try to touch your other shoulder with your dislocated one. If you can do that while maintaining your breathing and being at ease, you can easily pop it back in. I've dislocated my shoulder, and put it back in myself many times as well by doing this. Hopefully you see this, and helps you in the future.
