  • Hello, everyone. Don't worry, I'm still alive! Just needed a break as I was under a bit of distress due to personal issues and just general stuff, I would rather not get into.
Nevertheless, thank you all so very much for 5K Subs!! I never expected that I would ever actually make it, but we did! So, therefore I personally thought there was no better way to celebrate than releasing A BRAND NEW film on Barking Station! I have to say, if you really love variety, this station is for sure one of the best in my opinion especially if you are in search for Freight and a general mixture of Mainline, Metro and Bus services. The station is served by c2c National Rail, London Overground and of course the District and H&C lines of the London Underground.

In my opinion, the variety caught during my multiple day of visits was exceptional, with tube trains, plenty of c2c's new 720s, A TON of Freight not to mention three Tamper Trains and of course the best of them all, a pair of CLASS 37s!! As for the London Buses, Barking has always known for having well connected routes where we have plenty of services heading towards a vast majority of local areas, ranging from East Ham, Ilford, Romford, alongside the new Express Superloop towards Walthamstow.
Fun fact; Barking station is one of the few stations that serve the Underground, but with no TfL Roundels anywhere around the station platforms. This is because Barking is actually a National Rail (NR) owned station, other words managed by c2c. Just thought I would mention that! Also, if we don’t include Stratford, Barking is known to be the busiest station outside of Zones 1 and 2!
In terms of the structure of the film, since this was filmed across multiple days, with day 1 focusing on Platforms 1-5, filmed on a Sunny Sunday afternoon, with some c2c workings heading for Liverpool Street as well. Then afterwards, we hop on board a District line service and explore the on-route to Barking. The rest of the railway action is observed at Platforms 6-8. I had decided to merge days 2 and 3 together, which were all filmed on a weekday, and surprisingly everything connected quite well! So enjoy this extravaganza film to the fullest and thank you for the support once again!
Oh and as for the video index, that took forever to compile!! This will probably be the only video for a long time, where I shall showcase every vehicle/train's number. I'll be honest, when I was checking through the video, it literally felt like the scrolling credits was never going to end😅. To sum up, if you actually make your way from top to bottom, by watching the whole video index for the full 3.5minutes of just a bunch of scrolling numbers and A LOT OF TEXT, you are a real legend!!😉✨
