  • This video reveals how to use an ignition spark tester on a car (adjustable ignition spark tester). It includes a practical, easy to follow demonstration via a car on the driveway.
An adjustable ignition spark tester reveals how effectively a car’s ignition system transfers electricity to the spark plugs. The engine cannot run properly if the spark plugs do not get a strong, consistent flow of electricity.
    The video confirms how to:
    • connect the ignition spark tester to a car
    • read the scale on the tester (KW)
    • run a test and interpret the results
    • minimise the risk of electrocution.
Get the know-how. Discover how to use an ignition spark tester on a car, with CarSpyTV.

The writing on this tester IS confusing i agree.
      Why is there a 0I before the 2 ??
Why not just put a 2 for 20k and a 3 for 30k and a 4 for 40k at the correct spots ?? That makes sense

Wish you had done (1) car with distributor and (2) small engine with magneto. Do not understand how your engine ran with the item between the high voltage source and ground. Were you continually cranking it? Especially in the second part, with the expanded gap and no spark. Hey, I'm just a dumbass American. LOL
