Virginia Tech Hokies baseball as been often good, but never great. Picked to finish last in the ACC's coastal division, the Hokies and Coach John Szefc have shocked everyone and put together a remarkable season, one home run sledgehammer blow at a time. Their home run celebration has been featured on ESPN and MLB Network. Hey don’t forget the wrestling program. Not sure if your old enough to remember when Tech won the basketball NIT tournament in the late 90’s or early 200’s, I can’t remember the year.

My dad was at Tech when Frank Beamer was in attendance. Frank was a year or two ahead of my dad. It was great when Tech played Rutgers in jersey, went to every game during the Big East years. Great times. You’re bringing back some very fond memories for me. Thank you!!

@@Hatbilly even though my entire family is from NJ, we all went to school at VPI (at least that’s what we always call it). You’d be surprised how many folks from Jersey go to school in Blacksburg!!!

Would have been a great video without that ridiculous juvenile music. Besides all that, you should have seen Notre Dame smoke Tennessee. ND's home run celebration is the BEST in all of college baseball.
