Childe would probably be a Santa or an amazing gift-giver. I think if Kaeya and Venti are together causing ruckus, I know Yae and Ayato will catch wind of it and join in. The four of them will either gaslight everyone waiting for Santa or actually help Diluc set-up the santa gift-giving. (Maybe Ayato could set up a find-santa mystery too to keep everyone entertained)

To be fair, with Alhaitham and Kaveh, I can see them BOTH giving each other coal for Christmas as secret santas, and being snarky about it. 😂
I can see Faruzan being the one that tells lots and lots of stories, but they're all technical and even meandering, and people start leaving during it but she's so absorbed in telling it, she either doesn't notice or doesn't care and insists on finishing. "You might *learn* something, you know!"
Also, Sucrose would make you *unbelievable* gifts. Either in the "holy crap, how did you even make this? This is perfect!!" Like you love lemonade, and she managed to cultivate you a lemon tree that grows the perfect tart and sweet lemons so all you have to do is squeeze it directly into a glass. No need to add anything. Or she goes a little too far and makes you something weird and even a little disturbing. Like she hears how much you like birds and she recreates and puts together the skeleton of a long extinct bird.
I can just imagine Kaveh's progression from animatedly chatting with people by the fire and in the kitchens while making the most elaborate gingerbread house to passed out crying in the corner cradling a bottle of wine then getting carried out into a guest room by Alhaitham lmao.

Hear me out, Yae would be FUN at christms. The clapbacks would be legendary. But I also believe she would have GREAT stories. I feel like Yae is the type to get into spirit during Holidays despite her teasing nature

13:51 THIS GAVE ME A HEADCANON in the beginning of the party when u look over at the fireplace its like a chill storytelling spot as like a break from the rest of the partying, everyones like scattered in different groups on the couch and some ppl r sitting on the floor and at first theres different ppl telling stories with a few ppl listening to each, BUT THEN towards the end of the party u look over again and suddenly zhongli has joined at some point and hes the only one speaking and everyone has abandoned their stories to gather around and listen to his long ass tale.

Commenting again to share the head cannon of everyone who got lost actually formed a small campsite by a small frozen lake and camped the night away together, it would start with Bennett getting lost and cyno finding him and them starting the camp while tighnari is trying to give directions over the phone and more and more lost people show up to their camp over time until someone goes out to find them
my HC is that the travelers finally convinced diluc that they were old enough to drink and are super drunk since they haven't had a drink in years.

I was thinking of this earlier, either Diluc or Noelle are delivering presents as Santa, maybe both together. Noelle because her name and she is the type to go to extremes and literally go to every house in mondstadt in one night. Diluc because he's rich and has a secret nighttime identity already, and it would be sweet for him to be generous with the kids.

I can see it all now. Cyno would be lost if he went alone 100% but if he went with Tighnari (most likely the case) and Collei, he would def be the one in "laughing and telling stories" just more in his cases telling bad jokes, which would make everyone insta leave and be all awkward. Lyne and Lynette would def be doing some magic performance for everyone. Nilou would 100% sing jingle bell rocks. Tartar would make to party but would never see him cuz he would be annoying traveler and the rest to have a snow fight outside, leading for each character to shortly disappear from the party time to time... o.o

Diluc being santa has to be one of the cutest things ever. Everyone thinks of him as being vigilant, not very talkative and mysterious, but in the end of the day he's looking out for everyone and making sure they're having a great time 😊❤❤
