Is Preston good for shopping on Sunday? What's open?

So we had some gift cards all due to expire we thought we would take a quick detour to Preston on the way to visit family and get them spent.
We were looking forward to new trainers and smellies but things didn’t quite go to plan.
To top it off the go pro malfunctioned so we missed quite a bit of footage 😫
