Probably the most beautiful, heartwarming BL series. No bedscenes, not too flirty characters, no dominant/submissive character and definitely not your typical BL series where the setting is usually in universities. Just two honest guys in love, together with mother nature. This is definitely one of a kind

No other actor can play Tian and Phupa like Mix and Earth does respectively.
While Earth’s version is full of memories and Phupa’s feelings for Tian, Mix’s version is so soothing and show Tian’s innocence and longing for Phupha

This series just proved that you don't need tons of kissing scenes and bed scenes to attract viewers. Investing in a beautiful story plus excellent actors can make a bl series successful. I love the fact that the story doesn't only revolve around the love story of tian and Phupha. They showed to us the importance of finding our purpose in life, protecting our natural resources, and reaching out to the far flung communities. All actors are commendable. Mix did a great job considering that this is his first series. I highly appreciate Earth's acting and I love him more in this series compared to his previous bl series. I really hope that we get to see them again on another BL series. The director is also noteworthy. He did a very great job considering the barriers they encountered throughout the shooting of ATOTS. I have a very high expectation for his new upcoming project, Bad Buddy.
Congratulations to the whole team for bringing this masterpiece to the world.
I'll probably take a break from watching another bl series after ATOTS. I can't move on. I don't wanna move on. TT_TT
IKR I really love how it focused on forgiveness and also love for the environment and others. It was so heartening seeing how much Tian grew in the village and slowly learnt to live beyond himself and his regrets. The last episode was so fulfilling, knowing he had found his purpose in life and came back to the village by choice and not by obligation too, being free from his guilt at last. The quotes at the end of each episode were always so meaningful too, especially the ones by the village head haha. 4 years of filming is no joke but I am glad the director, actor and the crew persevered. I believe ATOTS will always have a special place in viewers' hearts ❤️
ofc delivering us those decent and pure emotions through them. I am still in a state of grief of this series ending this soon. we didn't need any kiss scenes, we all got hypnotized with those innocent emotions they showed ❤️

Each version gives off a different emotion.
The original version: Exploration and journey - we see Tian changing to be a better person, while catching feelings. He refrains though, because in his mind, Torfun hasn’t forgave him.
Torfun’s version: Sad, but ready to move on - She’s ready to give Phupha to Tian, and she wishes them happiness together.
Phupha’s version: Content and happy - he finally feels in love with someone, Tian, and there is nothing that keeps them apart.
P’Aof, I really must thank you for making this series for us to see their journey. This show will always be in my heart.

If this series had a heavy sex scene I would have been disappointed. I grinned when their pinkies touched, shy when they were on the motorcycle, blushed everytime Chief looked at Tian. We didnt need to see sex, we had intimacy between 2 people in love. Perfect series with a perfect ending.
mostly BL series was just skinship with a lil bit of shallow plot , 1000stars really broke the stereotypes

ตั้งแต่ดูซีรี่ย์มา เรื่องนี้แหละ ใช่ที่สุด ลงตัวมากที่สุด ทั้งนักแสดง สถานที่ เพลง คือที่สุดจริงๆ ความรู้สึกแบบนี้มันหายไปนานมากๆแล้ว แต่เพราะหัวหน้า กับครูสีเทียน นี่แหละ ที่ทำให้หัวใจอบอุ่นจริงๆ ไม่อยากให้เป็นแค่นิยายเลย ss2 ต้องมานะ แต่ถ้าไม่มา แค่นี้ก็ perfect ที่สุดแล้วครับ
ซีรี่จบแต่เพลงไม่จบจร้าเป็นซีรี่วายที่แทบไม่มีฉากNCเลยแต่รู้สึกถึงทุกอารมของตัวละคร รักมาก ไม่ต้องมีจูบ ดูด หรือฉากหวือหวาแต่มันอบอุ่นจนขโมยน้ำตาไปแทบทุกฉากทุกคอน

Finally, Earth has a BL partner who is actually a close friend since 8 yrs ago. This series is worth the wait. Mix is a rookie actor but he held his character side alongside his partner and other veterans.
Earth did a terrific job in singing this beautiful song! His voice is so warm and authentic just like himself. What a talented artist who can really act, compose, sing and be in different roles/shows! Hope GMM would appreciate both Earth and Mix and give them more opportunities to shine after this fantastic series!
Yes. I do hope this isn't a one-time big-time kind of ship. I really do hope GMM would promote this couple more because their chemistry is really impressive.

OMG I totally agree with you when I heard this song and noticed the different versions that were played I liked them all because the is beautiful and all the versions were pretty but Earth’s version with the flute is DEFINITELY THE BEST!! It’s like you said Earth’s more realistic with the flute and it feels like your in the village. Man I’m SO SAD this show is over, I don’t think I’ll be happy again until tomorrow because this show was SOOO GOOD and now it’s over 😢. @@bookshavesouls3961 TRUE instead of season 2 or special episodes I think they better give another BL series for EM as lead couple.Season 2 or special episodes is difficult because they have to follow the novel & can't create an entire new story line. If they have to follow the special episodes like still 2gether where they followed the second book they have to do the same with 1000 stars too. But to do that it is difficult for them because they have to shoot outside bangkok etc. PAof said he can never do that again ,going back to the woods & all.

The original version is about sweet love. Torfun's version is about her love which felt bittersweet cause of her death and the regrets she left behind. Phupha's version is about his longing and missing Tian.

The bls Earth has acted in didn’t do much justice to his flair in acting. I recall the interview where he stated how when he was offered the role and he just accepted it because this was like a golden opportunity for him to transcend his prior work.
This series objectively made me believe that a good movie/series doesn’t require over the top intimacy to entice people. The plotting, laudable actors and good direction is ample to garner viewers.
This is not the conventional narrative humouring high school/university love which is why I legit loved the series. This is a mature love story with nothing phoney.
Same here, 1000stars was/is the first bl series I ever watched.
I agree with you,in my opinion Earth is more suited to play a mature and serious character. This type of characters express his talents and charms properly.
Fridays were my best days when this series was airing. The anticipation I used to have because of it was on another level. And I was never disappointed. Best Thai BL in my opinion.

It hurts me so much when Phupha refuses to see Tian at the wedding place because it must have been so hard for him to meet him in person because he knew that he won’t able to forget about him soon as he loves him so much. And i’m so glad that he took the courage to meet and sent Tian off at the airport. The rollercoaster. Immaculate.
I actually love the series version more than the novel, although in the novel Thien really bawled his eyes out when he heard Phupha say he misses him. That was a beautiful scene. Thien's walls crushed down completely. Those words were all he needed to hear to leave absolutely everything behind and come back to Phupha. 😊
I'm so glad you gave it a thought. That scene completely broke me into tears 😢. After all this time Phupha couldn't gather the courage to go and meet Tian. So he decided not to. Because he knew if Tian meets him, he won't be able to forget about Phupha when Phupha wanted Tian to move on and have a good future ahead. The fact that Phupha was being so considerate towards Tian even though he was so eager to see him and hold him in his embrace but still for Tian's sake decides not to. That's what I call true love! 😭
