Solid warm up. But ditch the standing dumbell internal/external rotations with arms down. Use a band instead, otherwise the tension isn't on your shoulders but more your forearm and biceps.
So do the same motion but with a band instead?

@Tan it keeps the tension on your rotator cuff. If you use dumbell, the gravity will go down and its not that effective for warm up.

Thanks for the video brad, Imma try these warm ups tomorrow and see how it goes. This is going to be the first time in 3 months that I have actually warmed up for bench, which I believe isn't a very good thing. So in watching this video and warming up correctly my performance and safety when doing the bench press should be enhanced.

appreciate the video man. ive recently have had problems doing bench because my arms would have a sharp pain in them when i did heavy weight. i know i needed a good warm up.
That is really awesome. Instead of the stick, I started using the band. I always warm up my shoulders for about 3-5 minutes before doing chest or any other upper body workout. And I have noticed a huge improvement, i.e., my old shoulders seldom hurt anymore. I also pull the band in between sets.

exactly what i needed 2 weekd ago i did have miner thing bothering me while i'm benching at my shoulders what happens is they get tired before my chest so i dont give 100% on the bench bcause my shoulders are tired so if these warm up would help that would be awsome

Ive got random wrist pain and it comes without warning... for example I’ve been sick for a weak and haven’t been to the gym and it hurts to put my hand on a wall at shoulder height and put any weight on it

does it really matter wht the excercise is for warm ups in general i keep seeing things saying get warm blood pumping and doing essentially weaker versions or just general movements of tht muscle u plan to work

really good advice but before anything i do 10 min on stairmaster or incline tread to let my preworkout kick in, get the blood flowing and wake up my CNS.
How come my arms don't move symmetrical when I do shoulder dislocations?

The physical therapist at the office where my girlfriend works told her to never use the pvc pipe like that. What are your thoughts? I've been warming up with that for over a year and like it I just keep hearing conflicting things from trainers, physical therapist, etc.

I use a rubber stretch band instead of a plastic tube. I get the same warm up and can keep it in my gym bag.
