- After years(?) of dormancy, Chivlary 2 is back on the channel...for now. Today's Chivalry 2 patch introduced a new map, new armor, new weapon and a big chunk of gameplay adjustments and tweaks.

I tried out the new weapon and didn't care much for it, so I just grabbed one of my old default classes and did my best for my team. It's been a long time since I played Chivalry 2 but it didn't take me too long to pick the basics back up. Still not a huge fan of how clunky the gameplay can feel, but it is what it is.
Regicide at Trayan Citadel is the name of the new map and just like all the other levels in Chivalry 2, it's beautiful. It's exciting, compact and it never lets you take a breath. The 45 mph battering ram is strange, but that's really the only thing I can say about the map that isn't praise. Chivalry 2 delivers another great arena for it's medieval combat.

Goedenag is a real weapon from history, it means "Good day" in German and you can also find a skin for it in Mordhau also for the eveningstar!
It is so good to see your videos popping up so often again. What you said about chiv2 in the beginning of the video, that the base mechainc of the game is a 50-50 is so true. I tried the game yesterday but felt like a russian roulette. I cant even be mad or angry about the state of the game, it is just sad and demoralizing.

Nice video! I've never played Chiv mainly because I don't like its aesthetic (I prefer the more realistic-looking Mordhau) but this actually looks like lot of fun!
I've thought about Mordhau, but I've wondered if there's players on console, so I've just stuck with Chiv 2

Oh nice, Chiv 2 is still getting updates. Yeah I honestly prefer Mordhau's combat a lot more, plus theres more Mordhau players in my region. Can actually get a full invasion game.
Do you need to put regicide as your active campaign to play on this map or was I just unlucky not to get it yet?
The first week it was out it was a special mode that just rotated the map constantly

I can rarely find full team objective servers unfortunately
I play mordhau with keyboard and mouse but chiv 2 I can only play with controller for some reason lol
