    Maybe you should invest a camera with higher frame rate and slow the video down. I can't see the detail of how you move and flick the defender.

    Good stuff Zeke, my problem is I find it very hard to square the push if I my lateral movement is fast. any good way to practice getting around this?

    • @zekefooser
      @zekefooser  Před 8 lety +2

      +LEBATO Few things i would try. 1) position the ball slightly back from where you typically set up. It's easier to square that way. 2) Work on your recoil or squaring motion. This means if you are moving fast laterally to push, you have to move fast laterally in the opposite way to be able to square. 3) as you push you should be rotating the handle slight to move the man back which also causes the ball to be pushed laterally but also slightly back. I think it will be easier if i make a video to show you what i mean. :)

    zeke, i dont' know if this is a stupid question on not. When you are shooting with your 3 man or any man for that matter, are you looking exactly where you want to shoot or is it a peripheral shot?

    • @bryantharris5914
      @bryantharris5914 Před 2 lety +1

      I look at the defender if it's a timing defense or a rotating defense because you need to pull the trigger at the exact right time. If they just wanna race then I focus 100% on a smooth takeoff with no give away movement (and would typically look at the ball).

    Hey, I was wondering there. Been playing Foosball for quite some time, got some shots quite well learnt, but I keep getting confused on the pull shot. I do the push shot squared mostly because that's the way I learnt it and I can both shoot to the farther side or in the middle, even to the most farthest side from the goalie, but the damn thing that keeps me bothered is how to do that with the pull shot. I just can't do it squared and it is either too weak, or I don't get it squared because I just can't seem to do the opposite movement of the handle when you hit the ball. Would be grateful to hear some advice on how to learn the pull shot properly, because it seems that many players do the shot in tournaments and I haven't seen any do the push shots, so I'm really eager to learn it. Also one thing I noticed while playing is that I'd like to know how to actually hit the ball so it wouldn't be as weak, even if you do a straight shot, I seem to find my hand to go slow when hitting the ball, although when doing the shots, the speed is really well, just the pull shot gives me problems.

    Easy to block by having the middle 5 coordinate with the defenders to cover the gaps. Takes lots of skills, coordination and practice. The two players of the team have to be in sinc.

    Hey man,
    Can you reiterate? Cause as you were trying to square the ball, you were actually still praying it. How about pulling (or pushing) with one defender and squaring it with the other? seems to me you'll get better results.
    Also you could try and show how to push with the left defender (from the POV in the video) and squaring it. It's more difficult to do, but it's so unexpected that it's deadly. Again, it would mean being actually able to square it using only one player.

    • @zekefooser
      @zekefooser  Před 5 lety

      My square push shot was really sloppy, and you are right, it was still spraying. However, the point about how to square still stands. You want to counteract the push motion by recoiling back. The squared pull shots show this more clearly.

    What is the best fussball ball brand? I bought some off of ebay and they were very slippery, which made them almost impossible to control and grip. Then, I bought another set from a different brand. This time, it was complete the opposite, very rough surface, thus very slow. Cannot find the right brand.

      from where I come from(greece) people only shoot close handed, it's all about learning how to put force on the wrist.Currently I can shoot the ball this way and 1/2 times when the ball does not go in the goal it just ends outside the foosball table😂😂

    why 13players;football is 12 in our soccer table 3back defenders and keeper alone

    • @Desertime
      @Desertime Před 6 lety +3

      It depends on which country you live in because each country has a different table. In France for instance (where I live) we have two back defenders and one keeper, so we have 11 players in total, like in actual football. If I'm not mistaking, he has an american table, that's why he has 3 players on the keeper rod

    • @chbm2329
      @chbm2329 Před 6 lety

      This table is different, its called a tornado table so it has 3 keepers not just one.

    • @onebigusdorkus
      @onebigusdorkus Před 5 lety

      The rods can only move so far. Otherwise, you'll be hitting each other in the junk all the time.
      Therefore, in the back row there are two ways to keep the ball from getting stuck in the corners. You can either have banked corners or have a 3-man back row. Different tables take different approaches.

      C’est un « Ulrich »(pas sûr de l’orthographe) en France on a des « bonzini » . Les Ulrich on des tapis plats , alors que les bonzini on des coins légèrement inclinés pour que la balle ne reste pas coincée . C’est pour ce qu’il y a des joueurs à côté du goal , car si la balle y vas elle je peux pas partir .
