What makes her so great is she’s not just a pretty face. Her songs are good, she can dance, and have strong stage presence. Not a lot of mainstream artists can claim to have all these things.
A lot of the female artists, especially if they are of colour, can, because they all have to work 10 times harder to get the recognition they deserve but yes, Doja is high up there
POC artists are always miles ahead better because they have to actually work their ass off to get to where they are since it's not so easily given on a silver platter to them.

It makes sense that the backtrack is there, so on that note. BACKTRACK IS NOT THE SAME AS LIPSYNC. DOJA IS NOT LIP-SYNCING IN THIS PERFORMANCE, BUT USING BACKTRACK. However, I am sure she has definitely lipsync in performances, all artists do. Even your fav 70s/80s artists

idk the word for it but how she handled herself when she noticed she was getting a bit out of breathe was amazing. idk if that’s about technique or professionalism but i noticed her notice she was getting kind of tired then immediately do things to fix it while still rapping and dancing and paying attention to the crowd. she adjusted the way she was dancing, started paying attention to where she was taking breaths, let the audience sing one part so she could breathe. she was born to do this.
