To be fair Knot Beret is from Repliforce so beating all three of them kinda proves Colonel right.
The Zaku II unit just defeated three powered Mobile Suits. What a shame.
Imagine losing to a common type enemy when you are a super powered type robot~
Also, I love how Zero straight up parries the attacks, he might be the most dangerous one after all

I love that the timeline of this fan game referenced from X4 that Signa wants Hunter and Repliforce to fight each other so he just put less effort into his objectivity. Since Repliforce was originally established to protect humans from Irregular/Maverick.
K.B: that was a good warm up.
And so, in this Alternate Timeline, Knot Beret has single-handedly saved the Repliforce, the Maverick Hunters, and humans and reploids from Fourth Sigma's nemesis in abusing the Final Weapon against Earth. It includes getting rid of Double who was actually working for Sigma as a spy to eavesdrop on the Hunters; thus, Iris didn't involve in any of the battles, fortunately. Recovered from KB's combats, the Repliforce commanders Slash Beastleo, Frost Walrus, Storm Owl and Jet Stingray hail KB as hero for saving the entire Repliforce Army. The Colonel, Skiver (Spiral Pegasus), and the General salute him for his single-handed, heroic efforts throughout the war, and Mattrex (Burn Dinorex), well, still doesn't care though. Iris has grown interests with KB...poor Zero. X, on the other hand, well, is just watching our hero gotten a LOT of rewards.
Now, the Repliforce continues its operation, protecting the humans and reploids from Mavericks/Irregulars in this AU. And the best of all, the Eurasia Incident never happened since Dynamo is finally captured and the Virus is quarantined by Repliforce's improved capabilities as they were all inspired by KB's mission: from rookie soldier to a hero; Gate remains well with his long-time colleague Alia happily.

X vs Zero OST are still my fav OST ever heard IMO..
True Ending: When Iris sees a show of mercy towards her brother who was on a bad path, new feelings for this brave warrior have arisen in her.
Zero: Oh no! Am I being single again, even though it's alternative timelines?
Iris: it's because you lost to a soldier!
Played this and finished it twice, wqs challenging and super fun! Loved everything, the controls, the way boss abilities are added, the alternate paths in stages, that epic last battle. Really amazing work! Hope to see the other maverick stages!

My boy kicking 3 high-robot arses by himself makes me so proud of your job! Incredible good, even if you saif you were to rest a little.
It would be amazing if K.B. got a Saber-like melee attack after this battle, after all it was against 2 melee fighters and 1 gunner type enemies.
I dont know, you could make use of the Grenade Throw animation in a similar way like X uses the Saber in X6, but I'm aware this fight doesn't give anything to the player.
Actually, in the initial version, I had already set up a saber for K.B., if you've seen videos of other channels' players testing this game.

Nice! So you have finally fixed this one bug after killing Colonel. On God I tell you music stopped and I couldn't move until I get hit.
Yeah, thing is that got reported like... thrice, still, it's good that it was ultimately patched out.

Did these changes for X and Zero exist previously, or were they all made for this battle? It's very nice to see them both more balanced and versatile.

Alright, now i got to actually trying it. I've noticed a few changes in Sky Lagoon Part 2, one of the enemies that shoot you in the debris barricade that you have to destroy is currently gone, and it's less.. stony? I had no much issues with it, but it was initially harder to get through when the third enemy was there. As for Jet Stingray stage; hell, i saw that you added a hitbox to him in part 2 after you pick the Eagle Rider armor, i like the small details.
I'm not sure about the slowdowns in this version? It might've been my fault initially given that i followed the tip of using the GPU to run the game; game ran slower than normal in some areas so i quickly removed it from nvidia afterwards to undo the change. It's only the Space Port that causes a fraction of lag (mainly since i was looking for that secret you mentioned before, might've missed it 🐟)
Now for the bugs; I did find a few, not too gamebreaking. But the 1-ups you collect throughout the game have smaller hitboxes, if you walk slow towards the life, you "collect" the sprite, but not the 1-up itself, at least until you walk a bit to the right so the game can register the life you collected. And the second one is mostly just a silly one. but the bug enemies you find in Sky Lagoon Part 2, you can walk past them.. then go back and see that they can fly without their wings! It's probably just how the de-loading works; didn't really expect the wings to be a separate entity though.
As for the actual battle and testing out the new Hienkyaku, i like the new changes. Now Beret can retain his regular jump and also have the dash, boosting his mobility and I-Frames even further; provided you time it well for the projectiles and contact damage. I guess it's possible to beat the Trio without using a sub-tank here, but i only came close, accidently pressed Pause and X shot Beret in the face 🐟, As for X and Zero, i can tell they now pack a punch given how Colonel's health bar fell in a few attempts. Still, is it possible for Colonel to lock onto X or Zero whenever he vanishes and reappears? Or does he know that Beret is the most dangerous within the fight?
Welp, i'll patiently wait for Magmard/Magma Dragoon stage and see if Beret can bring the Ride Armor into the bossfight.

三方大亂鬥的話，玩家優先攻擊艾克斯和傑洛(消秏兩人的生命值)，卡尼爾就不要理他(避開他就好了)，還有也要準備E罐。🎮
Oh, i see you added the Spin Slash to Zero and also added the Quad Charge Shots to X... Yeah, it think that makes sense. X should be able to swap firing modes in-lore, at the very least. Might try this version out and see how it plays currently.
I really hope Zero doesn't hold any grudges towards out Knot Beret if Iris flocks to him instead. 🐦
But first, Beret must defeat the stray Mavericks and obtain his last weapon. I still wonder if there's gonna be like a choice system when it's complete, like picking your Mavericks after defeating the Colonel in the intro stage for experimental weaponry for Beret. Sigma's gonna have a huge surprise by our own fat man.
