Just got my 13 mini and I’ll never go back to bigger phones long as I can help it ! Really made me see how much I missed having a small phone again and not having to lug around these big ass phones that fit awkward in my hand and barely fit in my pocket.. amazing love it !!!!!

Elek first of all this is best teardown video on yt hands down!!! i want to ask you do u think notch is taller bcoz of the flood illuminator is placed below the IR camera? i thought it is taller because speaker grill went up and sensors sit under it but from what i see its not like that.
Even the notch size change is smaller than expectation, but both the earspeaker and infrared camera moduel are smaller. And, in iP13 series Apple adopted under-screen tech for Face ID first time, I think we can even expect the notch disappear in near future.
I have one its great but you have to buy an ipad to use it when home,because the mini manily made for outside home use. Battery was enough for me charging it to 80 in the morning going to work and when im home battery usually has 15% to 20% or 4 hours screen on time.(4g always on) Buying a screen prottecion is neccery i have been using mine for 1 month only and its already scratching.

Followed this guide and now I'm pretty sure my antenna is ripped from my motherboard because it was attached on the bottom of it. Would have been nice if you showed how you removed that part...
I dropped my 12 mini in the water and it went dead, can you recover the data as I didn't keep Icloud backup

i aslo have the same situation with cable beneath the main board. and i really want to know what are those flex cable function.. i saw a cable beneath it and don't know what it is for. the phone is currently has no wifi and bluetooth. i wonder if you know anything about it
if Wifi and bluetooth missing, it might not the flex cable problem, but also could be mainboard problem. Pls go to repair store and check the reason.
Is the battery dimension same between 12 mini and 13 mini ? Can we apply the 13 mini battery on 12 mini ?

Yes, 13 and 13 Mini have the same rear camera.
Is the size of the magnets for magsafe is the same for the regular size iphone?
Nope, iPhone 13 Mini 17 magnet pieces while other models have 18pieces, so they are not compatible.

The last flex is GPS Antenna Flex, just for the GPS
Can we fit 13 mini's battery into 12 mini by replacing the battery board ?
It's possible to process if you try, but not recommended. Bcuz the volt, capacity is not same, which might bring safety problem.
I wanna ask whats the future of 3rd party repair business it looks like iphone 13 money making parts cant be replaced can they? Screen battery etc...
All of them can be replaced, just losing some great functions or receive some annoying warning message, except cameras. Camerea is getting problem and losing functions after replace a new one, this gonna be awful.

I’ve own SE(2016) and it feels much better then 13 mini when i use it with one hand.
I will likely buy 13 mini, except something more compact will be shown on the market. 13 Mini has just 2mm more wide than comfort to use for me with one hand.
I’m worry about it’s battery capacity and availability to operate at 20 degrees below water freeze point. It’s the worst thing i can say about SE(2016) especially when it was new with original 1700mAH battery, now I use extended capacity 1950mAH battery, it is better then original, but anyway not as good as it was when i used compact android phone before bought SE(2016). The bad thing about 13 Mini - there is no extended capacity battery yet for this phone.
There is no perfect phone in the world, just the most suitable for different ppl. 😀

Do u think a little customization with an iphone13 mini battery can fit in an iPhone 12 mini ?
Everything is possible but it's not good idea, first reason is safety risk which is about explode and data compatibility, second is that 13 Mini battery is almost double price than iP12 Mini, it's not worth to do that.

guess what he cuted the 5G antenna removing the motherboard and I know it thanks to the fact that just happened to me right now you should has shown that in the video, the fact that you fucked up that flex on the back of the board

Yes, for better and easrier removing without damage the wireless charging pad, heating in advance will be very helpful.

@@freezyinsidetheweezy8208 I'm not sure, but we always suggest ppl use parts specially for correct model if possible to prevent any problems.
@@Elekworld i mean, for example if we want to put the phone into a new housing. can we just remove all the glued items and glue them back inside a new housing? or will they get damaged when removing from the old housing?
