Elliot Meine returns from a blown out knee 18 months ago to play in front of the Bruin Nation! He's waited for this. We've waited for this. His debut against a team who shut everyone in the Northern Region down a year ago and took their show on the road to Hampton and the State Finals. The Madison Warhawks with new QB, Mac Lewis are led by studs on the wings with Sonny Endicott, Cord Yates and sophomore Dominic Knicely filling in Nicely for his older brother Senior standout Darren Knicely (out for potentially entire season) The Bruins return arguably the best QB in Northern Virginia in Daniel Lipovsky (D-Lips). He's got four talented receivers in Jalen Walker, Jalen Hoffman, Sam McAvoy and DJ Lawrence.
Both defenses are the pride of these two teams and quite frankly, that was the real story on this night. The Bruin Defense and a new comer to the Hi-Def High School spotlight, Drew Wisecarver, (Storm Warning), Emanuel Assante, Trent Pane, Ethan Morris, and Cavon Dixon dominated the line of scrimmage.
