- This is the follow up video showing me and my sister's first time playing through the Great Wolf Lodge exclusive expansion back in November 2021. Overall it's a solid content package and was the last thing left from legacy that I had never personally experienced. That is of what's even playable nowadays, still never got to do Unicorn or anything past that at Myrtle. But as usual I hope you enjoy and I'll see y'all real soon, happy questing!
Always found it a little funny that the bear looks like it’s roaring in pain when you give it the amulet and the gems. 😆
The Great Wolf in Grand Mound, WA got rid of this quest. It’s upgrading to MagiQuest+. New toppers, wands, characters and everything. It’s gonna look more like Great Wolf Resort than a Lodge. They even painted over the adorable paintings in the hallway off the elevators and stairwell. It’s a bit much.
Yeah, I just went to that GWL this week and there is a whole bunch of work being done and new items and decorations being added in, and things being moved around or taken out. Like the dragon quests are unfortunately out in the main lobby with black tarp around, not in the cool themed cave since they're revamping it.
It's kinda sad, and I do miss the old Magiquest, but I'm curious to see what it'll all look like when it's done. I do miss Compass quest and the Ursa Major adventure, I was looking forward to finally doing that adventure as I haven't been able to before, I never got that far.

oh god, this quest; I remember doing this quest the first time and wondering why this asshole chest won't give me the freaking neckless. Then when he opened it the first time, it was so sudden and louder and scared me so much I ran back to my room in terror... I had to ask to get the usra major amulet instead of finishing it since I could get the courage to return to that damn chest.
Ursa is a pretty fun adventure, and I think that along with the runes that come with it it's a worthy replacement for Goblin. Definitely makes lodges feel a little more immersive since it leans into the forest theme of it all. I find it interesting that Ursa tells you what the amulet does, almost implying it has a dueling power like the others.
Maybe they Were Keeping it an Idea For the future? A different Expansion maybe?
@@g7366 Maybe! Wouldn’t be the first time they’ve left places for them to fill in with stuff later (Ice Dragon Rune). And at the time Silver wasn’t a main adventure so they could probably get away with sticking another battle at the dragon station.
I also wish that MQ Chronicles had this quest. It was fun but I hate the fact that you have to collect the gems in the proper order.
@@traviscunningham7062 Sometimes I agree with you that it’s annoying but I think ultimately it was a good decision to make the adventure harder. There’s a little more to it and it feels rewarding to complete a more difficult challenge because I have to know the order.
Hey! Do you have any footage of Xavier being summoned at a Legacy location (when it would be super loud)?? I can’t find any videos on the internet of Xavier being summoned and my friend who I introduced to MagiQuest last year doesn’t believe me. Lol.
The closest thing I have to that is at 1:45 in this video, thinking about it I probably should get footage of what all the topper powers do.

I've been re-discovering old MagiQuest stuff from my childhood and I had completely forgotten about the Tree Slime. I wanna figure out if the GWL I went to as a kid still has legacy MQ or if they've converted already.
In our GWL, it was found in the Frozen Moors.(yes I hate to say that our lodge has MQ Chronicles)

One of the original dragon toppers, and I have no control over your ban so coming to my comments talking about it will get you nowhere.

This was filmed way back in November 2021, other videos kinda got in the way delaying the release of this one. But I highly recommend getting out there and playing as soon as possible since it seems great wolf is about to really crack down on converting legacy locations to MQ+.
