Matthew Brown '22 and Rian Klanderman '22, "Elegy"

Rian Klanderman '22 (violin) and Matthew Brown '22 (piano/composer) perform an original composition, "Elegy" for the Andriko Bilaniuk '22 Memorial Scholarship Concert, March 26, 2021.
"I am extremely grateful to Mr. LaCrosse for putting this concert together and for inviting me to write a musical composition in Andriko's memory. Andriko was a great friend since the time I met him in fifth grade. He always had a positive attitude and an inspiring amount of faith, kindness, courage, determination, and humility. He found the good in every situation and wanted his family and friends to still find joy in their lives despite his condition. I tried my best to express this through my piece. He had a passion for learning, music, and life, and I miss him very much. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family.” - Matthew Brown
