A great book is "Fly the engine" by Kas Thomas. It has excellent engine start procedures that work brilliantly.

Great start and I love to fly the 402s one day
Hot start procedures in the 402 full mixture and throttle levels back to idle position and fuel boost pump off
Oh snap-
The 421 is another that’s difficult to start and I never liked the fuel ejection system .
These engines get hot and yes they are difficult to start
