It is possible to heal, they have to be intentional in their journey. They can break from the pattern, embrace God's love and He will bring relationships who will be your support system and destiny helpers.
I rebuke that spirit of generational curse and wherever they mention Becky's and Summer's name for evil may God scatter and destroy their plans in Jesus name. God will meet you at your point of need.

I have gone through what Becky is going through. My way of dealing with my toxic family is keeping away from them
Like someone who has suffered rejection and abuse myself. I have come to realize that once someone hates you, you can never have your way into their hearts, no matter what you do. I thank God for these two that they found each other and now there is Lynn and our pretty counselor and the world on their side. Forgive your families, cling to each other and use the love and support of the world and soar very high. Results cancel insults. You came through a family but you are created in the image of God. Hold firm to God.

Having dealt with toxic parents, I can feel their pain. Feeling rejected or being told words that don't build you up by people of authority is heartbreaking. May God give us grace to heal, forgive and be whole.

All my life I have known that I am not my mother's favorite, but in the last three year I have come to realize the deep seated contempt and hatred she has always had for me since I was a child. Over the years, she has perfected her overt narcissism to an illogical level. I am the last born of her known 8 children, but I reckon I have taken the best care of her. My advice to the beautiful summer family and all other victims of narcissistic parents is to forgive but don't forget. Move away and continue to follow your dreams and fulfill your purpose. No amount of love and respect will change them. Just to give you perspective, I just turned 55 and mother is 87. You would think that some remorse and wisdom would have set in my now but she's still working on outdoing herself and has even taken the time to recruit an army of flying monkeys who see and know what she's doing but they just turn a blind eye!
Very sad! It's a HABIT someone CHOOSES to have and it's endemic in Kenyan society, that's why you're seeing a lot of murders, suicides, narcissists and psychopaths.

You do you my dear, grow and heal from all that negativity. You're accountable for YOUR own actions to God and responsible for how you decide to react to that. Be free of negativity and work hard to create a safe and flourishing environment for yourself and children (if you've).

I decided to binge watch Thee Summer Family videos after watching them on LNS & came back here to say that,'Toxic parents can be jealous of their children's successes even when they are small'...for example a dysfunctional mother watching her daughter being loved on while their own relationships have been the opposite...yes she was bad to her even before but knowing that Becky escaped & suddenly looked happy & well loved on YT triggered more manipulation...even that text calling her back for school was probably a ruse to get her home & away from this boy that was doing a better job than her own mother....that's what I see...these 2 need to stay away for a while,far away & even go the legal route if possible.Toxic jealousy is dangerous

There is HOPE. We all shall heal from the pains and traumas. LNN is a beacon of hope to many. Today, I had my therapy alongside the two. Venus is a resource and I love the idea of Mental First Aid centres and just urging us to be quick to get Mental Therapy for issues as soon as they start bothering us. For sure there are so many hurting people both young and old. Apart from being encouraged by the Word of God, lets go and get therapy sessions. I think it's about time we renew our minds about relating to each other and include listening, receiving constructive feedback, sharing our troubles to get help than dying inside. Wow! Lynn you must be taking in alot. Pliz show us how you get to unwind and have fun and care for yourself from the emotional weight you carry for others. Praying for you too.

My dad who passed away when I was 8 was very toxic. My mum and my siblings tulikuwa tunatetemeka tukimskia tu amefika. I hate to admit it but our lives improved when he passed. Luckily my mum is an angel đ„°

Lynn I'm telling you ,of all your shows I watched this is the hardest. Personally I lost my Dad at the age of 11 and after 11 yrs my Mum passed on.we were born 6,4 girls and 2 boys.In the yr 2008 my sister whom I follow died living behind 3 kids who had been widowed six months back,come 2010 my elder Siz died living behind 4 kids where the husband is is mentally dysfunctional.now come 2019 my sister who follows me passed on living behind 3 kids for a toxic husband who abused her to death.it never add up.but I have never felt the pain this kids have gone through. As I speak I bless my God for who iam today.I'm a pastor and I have the peace of the Lord within. Personally I'm a mother married blessed with 4 kids a girl an 3 boys.I'm praying for them it is well with them.....

If you enjoy fatherly and motherly love throughout childhood and adulthood be grateful. I always wonder what a father's love toward a son/daughter feels like especially for those born in two parent families. Some of us out here only know parental abuse, rejection and abandonment. Thank Lynn for this story. Parental rejection is real and damaging. Thank God for strangers who reach out to help even when they don't know someone. God bless you immensely for saving lives.

I think she has also been tough to her kids somehow as she keep insinuating, so she thought that mum was just ok but we all know that's not discipline but abuse. Children especially girls should never be beaten once they start having their periods, it's wrong. Boys should never be beaten after puberty.

Those are w@men for you!selfish,ptetentious ,exploitative,and manipulative.. They always lie and sacrifice their kids for their own comfort,pump babies with piriton as they go partying the whole night...but they will say how mothers should be respected and want the society to percieve them as saints!

Relating but indirectly. The summers are strong , not many could hold such pain for that long. Cheers to them and you for listening to them
LYNN you have brought one of the most important three shows back to back with solutions to everyone including me in my 50+and old enough to be the mother of those two young souls. I feel their pain because we have a demonstration of narcissistic abuse and and two ladies going through relationship struggles one just passes away and the other is getting into more relationship on rebound and this is the dangerous trend with chicken because men will take advantage of that and even misuse your children. To mask their shortcomings they now start hanging their dirty linen on innocent children like Becky and summer. Healing has begun and the faultlines will eventually close. I have been a slave to my family members and especially siblings trying to buy,beg for love that's never forthcoming. This started in childhood but hit me down in my fifties. I am recovering from chronic depression and if it were not for the Lord I would have committed suicide long ago. God bless your show I hope one day to tell my story to you and healing is a journey. I am currently disabled in UK and I am happy to say that your shows keep me going. Blessings Lynn, Venus and the lovely children. I am willing to become their mum away from home. Not only Summer & Becky sat under this canceling but I too, I have gained a lot of insight of my present and future mostly as a future mam... I have also faced rejection but one thing our pastor said in church is when you see yourself facing a certain things with people it's not people who have a problem it's a certain spirit that is attacking you so you should deal with that, so in this case when we pray James and Becky condemn this spirit of rejection. I have seen this work in my life coz remember Satan is also real doing his job na hatawai jitokeza aanze kupigana na wewe just as God uses people Satan also uses people and when your dreams are too big you have to face a battle field first. I also just started my CZcams channel that's basically about mental health and everytime I post such things on WhatsApp, nobody bothers to go watch. But I'm looking forward to the day young people will take mental health seriously. Don't be scared to reach out or watch.

Summer listen to Venus and process. Do your best to detach feelings from emotions. What people tell you should not weigh you down especially when they accuse you of what you haven't done. You need to discover yourself, affirm yourself and always work from inside-out than outside-in. We call it internal locus of evaluation in Counseling. Trust the process as Venus shall coach you on. Life is about you nor what people say about you. Try also to set your goals right son. Delay babies and prioritise education Completion, then get a stable job then babies.
Becky, your father is out there. We are here for you. By accepting where you are independent of your Mom, that is the beginning of healing. Release Mom because this life is about you not your Mom. You have gone through so much and survived the worst. It is now time to start self discovery my daughter. Do not attempt to force your mother your way if she doesn't want. Healing starts from within not from without.Mom is in her world chasing "Love" and self-agrandisment. She cares less or nil about you not because she doesn't love you but due to her past or a condition like Narcissism or Bipolar. Many in this condition don't know they are hurting. With Lynn, Venus, Summer and all of us out here, you have enough micro and surround support system that are superior to ensure your mental wellness.
