I am strictly in VR (I have a Samsung widescreen for my iRacing rig) for DCS, have the TM Cougar MFD and A-10 UFC, the muscle memory to push buttons was established fairly quickly. I did email NLR about the seat, I plan on ordering one. They told me they could not do the green cushion, that is really the one I want, but I can live with the black seat. It is the center cutout for the center stick I really want! Another great video, I love seeing peopleâs rigs, gives me ideas for my own.
Sounds good⊠Totally happy for you! â€ïž
I agree with you on VR - Im getting a 65" Oled for my sim rig.
Again, Iâm not against VR, but it sure does seem like some of those VR users are trying to convert us when weâre totally happy with our set ups.
@@AIRWARFAREGROUP plus you have then thing attached to your face i dont like having it attached to my face.
Donât go too large with the screen size, I run a 55â, and itâs hard to get the correct TrackIR heights..
Current VR, i totally agree. Now what i hope for with the Quest 3 coming, there will be sections we can have as see through. Only then will i convert to VR.
This looks Great Juice! I'm thinking of adding a collective. Maybe the Virpil Blackhawk one, but I haven't really started shopping.
Go for it! Weâre both turning 60 this yearâŠIâm going on a Mustang ride on the 28th. đ«Ą
Nice looking simpit. Your dome comment reminded me of the Maxwell Smart cone of silence. Good concept, but never really worked. A large 16:9 with a 1000/1200 curvature would be pretty awesome. Look at the Samsung Odessey ones. I have 32 inch 1500R curved.
My favorite scene from that movie was when they clipped in the scene from his F 18 ride and he asked for another barf bag! đ
First of all dear Juice, congratulations to your awesome flightsim-rig đđ»đ My interest also goes to the Next Level Boeing Military rig. But I have to handle with the space in my Homeoffice. As an accountant I need the space of my desk and a proper PC for my work. So I unfortunately canât integrate the rig into my desk like you did it. But I will see⊠Maybe I wake up in the morning and have found the solution in my dreams đ I wish you happy flying and a lot of fun with your setup and your rig đđ

Very nice...wow, a guy can dream I guess...well done!
Itâs just what Iâve scrape together overtime. I would have to say itâs the CZcams channel passing 10,000 subscribers that got us the attention from NLR and they sent me a free chair for review. Lucky I guess.
I was just like you setup-wise until one day I made built a PC that just did DCS VR so well.the immersion blew me away. I redesigned my rig to meet the VR requirements - it turned out to be much more minimalistic. I was less focused on getting more hardware and flew more.
My rig is a Virpil collective and collective, VKB gunfighter centerstick, and PointCTRL. I also have the Winwing MIP without screens and it works really well in VR.
I removed my Winwing flight panels, Stream Deck and ipad UFC.
That's awesome! Next move as I said in the vid is three WW MFDs
Very cool. Iâve been planning my simpit for a little while now. Iâm just waiting to pull the trigger on some new peripherals that Iâll have build it around.
đ did you catch in the video that Iâm going to upgrade my MFD soon? I think itâs a great time to be in flight simulation of all kinds!
I did, and yep, itâs amazing how much it has evolved. Iâve been sitting in a wood chair at a desk since my first msfs that I got with the brand new, high speed low drag HP 486 with a crazy big 8 mb RAM upgrade. Finally bought a stick after grabbing that big cardboard book box with MS CFS in it at the KMart!
I just canât sit that long anymore lol. Hoping a nice comfy simpit will help. đ
Man, youâre making me cry so much Iâm laughing so hard⊠Reminds me of my commodore 64 days. đ
The Wingwing MIP totally changed my experience along with a monstertech chair with center mount.
Enjoy, you'll never want to go back
Gotta save up a secret bank account to get those three MFDS...I want screens and they are the best.
i havent tried VR but i still love and prefer track ir, plus i think my dog wouldnt acknowledge me anymore if i cut her off with VR (damn husky) ... the screen your describing is Samsung ARK, 55", it can be swivelled 90 degrees and goes up over your head!! Not cheap though
My daughter attended school online for Kindergarten through Sixth and didnât want to isolate her from me back then. Over the years I have fallen in love with my panels and prefer that level of immersion over 3-D face sweat.
WHY don't you do VR is DCS world?..... (tapping my foot, waiting) -haha I'm done with VR and want to go to head tracking, so I hope you review the product you use too. Visually, the VR experience is great, the immersion is complete... up to the second you need to spin a knob or flip a switch and then (like you) I'm stumbling around in the dark, stepping on every lego on the floor! = immersion done. Looking forward to the VR video. -thanks for all the content!
This is what I do for clicking, it works pretty well with the Quest Pro controllers. czcams.com/users/shortsUOS_WzE4tlA The problem remains that if you misclick on an empty space, DCS will fire your canons. Kind of annoying if your guns are armed.
@jolu2469 Better yet...we have a complete playlist dedicated to it...it will take a little to get it working, but also search the alternatives as there are more products that are free (or nearly free) that you can choose from. czcams.com/play/PLroS5xjXW90vzQqEyONxyScykYpObJXtb.html
@zinjguo8268 The link says OOOPS something went wrong.
The new set does look great........ but at ÂŁ1100 for the pair vs ÂŁ6-700 for the Boeing one......bit of a price jump for little gain
The new products allow users that only need one or the other to save space. I find that my Boeing rig doesnât take any more space than my old setup.
Take a look at the Samsung Ark for your monitor
Super thanks...WILCO.
Hmm seems like a decent option for myself, Iâm looking for something I could get my honeycomb Yoke & throttle and my winwing hotas, I wonder if anyone has made a solid platform for the center along with using the side stick
The system is not beefy, nor is it flimsy.
I can't go back to flat screen since VR, the only thing i have trouble with in VR is when the wife dumps a coffee on the desk without letting me know she has, lost count of the amount of times i have reached forward an hit the cup thinking whats that wtf woman i was on short final then an now look not only have i crashed i am now scalded.
"Dinner's Ready" Me: Okay, let me find somewhere to land first đ€Ș
I really enjoy my 40 inch curved screen. Something on your list would be to build some screens in behind those mfds. I 3d printed mine and it's a game changer.
Iâm gonna go and buy the MFD set from WinWing soon. And Iâll probably do a giveaway on my cougar MFD frames eventually.
@THE AIR WARFARE GROUP I have been eyeing those for the extra buttons built in for the Apache. That's a great idea to raffle off used sim gear! It would be alot of fun to raffle off home built f16 ICPs or screen mods for the mfds. I have no interest in manufacturing sim parts but I enjoy building them!
Iâm surprised you havenât found a way to build custom SimPits like your build out, you doâŠ
@THE AIR WARFARE GROUP well my main business is very busy so it hasn't left me with a ton of time to work on hobbies. I am getting my shop ready for my new 5'X10' cnc so there may be some more fun in the future with regards to simpits!
That would be fun to follow on CZcams. Let me know if you do some coverage on it and Iâll help promote it.
I'm getting the full MTS sim Rig from Monstertech. MPS seat also. Seat is $800 alone.
Sounds super cool đ
....is officially jealous!

@@AIRWARFAREGROUP đđđ didnât need it in a box. I have a room set up for standing VR games, as well as a few sim setups.
I have to keep the center of the room clear. My sims need to be easily converted from DCS, to MSFS, flying commercial aircraft, to small GA aircraft, even helicopter.
I can change everything from one to another in about 2 min. From VR to wide screen on TrackIR.
I have a dual G1000 setup that is good for instrument training, it requires me to change out the video outputs to different screens, that is the only one that requires me to shuffle around with plugs behind the computer.
I just thought that was ingenious the way he made that stealthy flight rig in that box.
@@AIRWARFAREGROUP I should have hid mine from my wife⊠she is mad because of what I spent on what she calls a game.
You would want something as big as what Project Warthog has?
I donât know if the size is an issue or the fact that itâs a one-aircraft SimPit dedicated to the A-10C. But Iâm happy with the set up I have now as it will carry me to retirement from DCS World. Not too many years I plan to be traveling more and seeing the world.
