I had the same problem with my denture patient.after you finish the major impression, you can ask the lab to make you something called a neutral zone.where you use something called medium body silicone and place it on top of the lower denture and you keep it in the mouth of the patient for approximately half an hour, while they talk and smile. And this will help the lab to determine where the placement of the lower teeth best would be for the occlusion, and they will have better retention and stability overall.
