- Reports over the weekend suggested that Donald Trump was considering picking Nikki Haley to be his running mate, but insiders said that this was only if Haley agreed to pay his legal bills. Trump was not happy about this leaked information, and he blasted the report on Truth Social claiming that Haley is NOT under consideration. At this point, Haley as VP might be Trump's only shot at winning in November, as Farron Cousins explains.

I still laugh when I think about the time Kanye West took Nick Fuentes to Mar-A-Lago to have lunch with Trump. The reason he went was to ask Trump to be his VP.

But he's cheap. He never pays any bills unless he absolutely has to. He's been sued over 4,000 times for not paying people what he owes them. (Look it up, that is a real number.) He's so cheap, he's going to tank his election chances by spending all the campaign money he's getting on his lawyers instead. So while Biden's hammering everyone with TV ads and on-line ads, Trump won't be doing any advertising in return. Which is a pretty stupid plan when the only way he's going to stay out of prison is to win the election.
