Train's coming - off the tracks! We are altogether comfortable with that alarm, however, imagine a scenario where it occurs in an open street market.
Maeklong Railway Market is an amazing spot where the merchants need to move the canopies and shop fronts again from the tracks each time a prepare approaches so it can go through, at that point supplant the things when the train has passed. The train could come as customary as many times each day, contingent upon the train schedule. That is the reason the market is additionally alluded to as "Collapsing umbrella Market", a rising site to visit when venturing out to Thailand.
This market has everything that we've come to know and love in Thai markets. Its slows down have showcases of organic products, veggies, meats, fish, and also sweet snacks, apparel, and blossoms. The real contrast is that there are train tracks running straight down its center.
A beguiling small cautioning alarm goes off finished the speaker framework only a couple of minutes before the train comes. Inside a few minutes of getting the notice, sellers pull back their uniquely composed overhangs previously the train comes, now and again just minutes previously. That is the reason the market is locally known as the Talat Rom Hoop, which translates into "Market Umbrella Close."

It's incredible how hard people in the overpopulated Asian countries work to make a living. And so many of them risk their lives in various ways, just so they can feed their families and have a roof over their heads. Total respect for the work ethic. Some of these vendors makes like $400-$500 daily profit selling their foodstuffs to tourists. I don't think they are really desperate in the sense that you're perceiving. There's a lot of underground economy in Thailand and these people are getting the free ride by not paying any taxes. From the views of outsiders, they appear to be all poor, desperate, and innocent, but many of them have more money than you!

Sam- Yes, just look at 1:04 at the guy walking backwards and a few others. It must be that the poster, for this video, didn't have a front view of the train, so they simply ran the video backwards to show the train is coming. It looked normal though when the train left since he was probably recording out the back of the train. But there are other videos on CZcams if you really want to see the people scurrying when the train does come.

Well, I call Thailand my home sweet home, and it's quite a quirky place. You see, we had train tracks running through the area way before the market was even a thing. And when people started flocking in, they had to learn how to dodge the trains like it was a game of Frogger. But here's the kicker: since the market was built, we haven't had a single train-related mishap. I guess our folks have finally mastered the art of train-dodging, or maybe the trains have finally learned to give way to our bustling market. Who knows?
