Normally to defrost I would leave the pump on for a few hours. The pump turns off at - 30 degrees, and there is a defrost button that doesn't seem to do anything. If condensation is left in the chamber it corrodes the vacuum sensor. How can I properly defrost to avoid corrosion over the holiday period? I am using a BK-FD10P, but it looks very similar to the one in this video.
