This is a song that is really close to my heart !!! Sunday morning November 2nd 2008 New Bethel Baptist Church this is the second song the song service I thought I was saved and knew the Lord. But I was wrong on that particular morning I found the Lord a little bitty old fashioned alter you know I thought for a long time for over 20 years and I was saved and I wasn't I had a car wreck in 2001 3 days before my 22nd birthday it broke me and my sister up pretty bad they had to Life Flight us from Canton Georgia to North Fulton Regional Hospital in Atlanta. That's God's Amazing Grace you see for over 20 years I thought I was saved had I died in that car wreck I would have hit hell wide open and I'd still be there and that's where I would remain praise God and thank God for Sunday morning November 2nd 2008 and a little song that was sung that morning a beautiful morning conviction came down and pricked my heart I like only the way the Lord can do it I spoke 3 words that's all it took back in a broken heart and a contrite spirit and I pray to the Lord I said 'LORD SAVE ME'... and just like that he did and I still saved to this day I love this little song I love hearing these little churches sing God bless you and thank you y'all don't know me and I don't know y'all but one day we will you don't know the Lord from the free pardons of sin I pray you do and you do it fast this is for anyone reading all of the CZcamsrs everybody
Hi. I just read your amazing story and so glad this song touched you. I'm so proud that my granddaddy wrote it back in 1959. It's so ironic bc I lived in Canton, GA for about 10 years. I'm glad your sister and you survived! God is so amazing!
