That spin move was something else, no one til this day does it like Freeney, when a guy sacks a guy off a spin move we need to say he Freeneyd em!! 😂

Ogden said Freeney was one of the toughest guy to block. Freeney terrorized Ogden a lot. To think about about it. The Ravens during this time had an elite Defense led by HOF Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, Suggs and a lot of good depth on that side of the ball. Their only issue was problems at the QB position. The Colts on the other hands had Peyton, Marvin, Reggie and Edge and an elite offense. Their defense on the other hand outside of Freeney, Mathis and a healthy Bob Sanders lack a lot of depths on that side of the ball. Two teams with different needs that could've both been a dynasty in the early 00.

Indy's defense was too small. They were built to play with the lead. Freeney was insane. I remember reading an article about him and his mastery of the spin move in ESPN magazine.

Gives you a new perspective of how dominant freeney was. Ogden may be the best LT ever or top 5 at least. I remember freeney was always at the top of the season sacks stats back in the day

The move Freeney puts on maybe the greatest OL ever on this play 12:48 was absolutely disgusting. Freeney might be the greatest speed rusher I’ve ever seen. He threw Jonathan Ogden on the ground.

Alot of people forget about Elvis Dumervil too...he was smaller than Dwight but still managed to pile up sacks.

Ogden is great, but man Freeney terrorized him this game. Dwight won this one by a quite a bit.

It's because Ogden was so darn big and Freeney was small as hell with insane bend and quickness..

@@adamletschin7759 yea freeney with that quick spin move

@@adamletschin7759 it's the same reason James Harrison was able to dominate. He wasn't as fast as Freeney but more strong.

  • @RGsmokinthathunnitHMNdawgpound

colts defense was legit back then hard to say who won but Freeney got the edge on this one jonathan oghen is like 6'9 freeney like 6'0 with 4.4 speed

They was a above average defense because they was a liability vs the run . The offense was taking up most of the salary

Freeney dominated so many HOF OTs with his pass rush - Ogden, Pace, Jones. He was just so next level in pass rush.

yeah me too, but sheesh Freeney's conditioning was getting the better of big Ogden later in the game. damn that was fun to watch. haha in the games back then i would always root for the Colts, but in this video i was rooting for Ogden.. And i remember hearing both names often back then.

Aaron Donald would've been the perfect 3 technique for that colts cover 2 defense

If the Ravens didn’t have god awful qbs for 10 years we would’ve had at least another ring or 2 in my opinion

In today's NFL, Ogden would've been flagged for holding Freeney in almost every play haha

This is correct. Jones and Pace were always above Ogden in this time period.
