    If a bad thought enters, you quickly introduce a new thought, gets rid of it before it really entered.

    • @Alex722
      @Alex722 Před rokem +29

      Yeah that’s positive thinking. Replacing a negative thought with a positive. That’s good and eventually you get accustomed to think more positive than negative thoughts.
      But you can go deeper than thought. You can observe thoughts as choiceless awareness with total attention. Attention is prior to any thought.
      So whatever thought comes in, attending total to it, it dissolves fast and easy without the effort to replace or suppress it. That requires total silence on your part, verbally and mentally.
      Choiceless awareness works for emotions to, so if any unwanted emotion arises you don’t try to avoid it by distracting yourself, but you stay with it totally. Amazingly fast it evaporates.

      @@kels-- I understand because I had this problem for years.
      You’re getting more pissed off either because you’re trying to suppress anger or you keep thinking of that which made you pissed.
      In other words you’re trying to stop anger by thinking.
      There is no need to distract yourself in order for anger to disappear, because that becomes a habit and you become dependent on distraction in order to release negative emotions.
      Just observe anger without choice, no visualisation no commentary no nothing.
      This is not an opinion. Awareness is prior to any mental and physical activity.

      @@Alex722 you sound like a man who has read the book letting go by david hawkins, agree with all of this,
      the more you try to resist a feeling thought or emotion the longer it stays, and so on so forth just simply allow your being to be aware of the thought/feeling/emotion as it arises, the more you do this the quicker and more autonomous it becomes
      If you allow yourself to identify yourself with a thought/feeling/emotion the more you are going to let it consume you and the awareness will not be on the thought feeling or emotion itself but it will be totally gone , this is unconscious living , be conscious of your awareness , feel everything , let it be , and watch it disssssolveeeee

    I did this kind of thing growing up swinging until I was even an adult. People thought it was weird that I would swing a lot in my life even as an adult.
    Yet what I'm usually doing then is meditating, I'm usually listening to music in intense emotions, imagining drastic scenarios that I may possibly face anywhere in my life that may be dangerous, emotional, personal, things like being cheated on, facing death, having children, getting married, going homeless, being hated by everyone, being evil and doing things I may regret, how I could start doing something that may be good for a time but lead to problems, etc.
    I had countless scenarios that I would question every possible outcome of these things, and that gave me many perspectives in life that as I start to live my life I've already thought out almost every possible scenario that any human being could ever face and because I know that every direction I can possibly take I will realize in the moment when it actually happens what is the best option to take and how to react to things.
    Even guys 50 years older than me tell me I should be their father because of how wise I seem when I'm just a young man. But reality is, I've just taken much more time than they have in their entire life to think about a situation, a moment, a desire, and how I should react to these things and when I should not give in to them and when I should.
    But they have never thought it over much, and so they react on a whim when they're put on the spot and that often comes out as what he refers to being spontaneous, which often becomes a foolish decision if you haven't thought about the consequences of those actions that can lead to other things and then when you're not ready for those other things those turn into even bigger problems when you handle them the wrong way because you're not ready.
    But this is why we should have parents in our life constantly talking to us as children about what we should and should not do in life but that's not what we've mostly had in this world. Mostly we were told to go watch the TV go to school go outside and wait till we grow up and then move out of the house and everybody wonders why everybody's making so many crazy stupid decisions in life now that messed up the whole world over the last few decades.

      There were times in my 20s I taught an old man how to play chess and I enjoyed watching him actually improving. He just never played it before but had an interest.
      Yet, my favorite thing about chess now is my wife is the only one who's played with me in the last 4 years. About a decade ago when I met her and we were on a camping trip by a lake where we first got to meet each other, we spent hours and hours one of those days playing chess at a picnic table next to the lake and got to know each other while I could explain to her how chess can teach you many things in life.

    Law of attraction to me is where you allow thoughts to pop up, and not suppress any, and if you don’t like a certain thought, or thought pattern, you replace it, and only focus on that new thought. You do have to think about it quite a bit and play games with your mind though. Like you’ll notice you’re deceiving yourself a lot, or avoiding thoughts that are important just because you don’t like them, and you have to maneuver your way throughout it all. It’s kind of a path to help you see your thought patterns and how you treat yourself when looking at your thoughts. It also allows you to take a step back and get more control over your thoughts, and overtime will definitely help you in a-lot more ways than you’d expect. The whole “if you want to be rich, just act as if you’re already rich” thing is a great tool to use in LOA, but the main thing I learned through that is more lessons and controlling my thoughts than actually getting rich. It’s kinda like a billboard advertising free $100k, but you have to go to school for 5 years and get a job for that $100k to be yours type of thing

    • @enchantedraze7969
      @enchantedraze7969 Před rokem

      @@DarkLordAli95 Similar to what the outcome was yes, but If you think about it as cbt, then In a way I’m my own therapist. It was because i practiced saying “i am rich”, that got me in the frame of mind to start looking at my thoughts and to monitor them more, and to be a sort of gate keeper for what thoughts I’d allow through. And it wasn’t motivated by me wanting to get me mentally more sound, but because I wanted to get rich for example or to own a house or whatever I’d want to manifest. And slowly you start to see all your thoughts and how positive or negative, how helpful or destructive they are to what you want in your life and how you want to feel

    Law of Attraction is psychology in the guise of spiritual. However be aware that we can't always get what we want and should include Divinity in the formula. Heard the old folks ever say "God Willing" ? Think about that and what LOA says... plus learn about pattern recognition and the RAS of the brain.
