- Quick comparison of the older Blackberry Torch 9800 and the new 9810.
NOTE: Forgot to mention another new feature of the 9810 is that it is a "4G" device (not really true 4G but supports HSPA+).
One of my favorite phone BB made. It used to drop calls like crazy though. At least once a week.
I had both. I loved them. I could type so accurately and fast on them. I also was able to tether it to my laptop without paying any extra data fees. It was great.
Mann this brings up so many memories
i like the new color more then the old torch because the new matte color is making the new torch looks like very solid the old black chrome color is making the old torch like a plastic phone, thumbs up if you agree :D
Great review that highlighted all my questions between the 9800 which I have now and the 9810 which I'm considering. However, I do have to agree that your speech and your overall delivery could be a little more interesting, less monotone, and more engaging. Having said that, you hit on all the points I was wondering about. Thanks.
Is the camera on the Torch 9810 better than the 5mp camera on the Bold 9780? And is the Torch comfortable to type on despite the smaller keyboard?
the covers are not fully compatible if i am not mistaken the back of the 9810 has NFC connectors!
@DEATH1996MASE Unfortunately, there is no front-facing camera on the Blackberry Torch 9810 :(
yeah i reeeeeally wish i could have my torch 9810 in that darker color. lol and i also like that back on the 9800 better.

will the new blackberry 9810 be released in the old colour (titanium blue) or any darker colour? looks so much better than the silver.
i prefer the 9800 color tho, the dark chrome is so elegant

@hyperjcp it's not the back covwer it's the inside next to the battery so no difference will be made.

@killahsista the camera on the 9810 i believe is better then the 9780, i got a 9800 and the camera is very very good, so i guess the 9810 is about the same, and i think that the keyboard on the 9780 and the one in the torch 9810 is the same size, if not, is slightly smaller, and its pretty good
i like the color of my 9800 but i'm thinking of getting this 9810 on white saw a few videos of it but looks great.
anyone know how the front facing camera is on the 9810? does it take a good pic?
No, bold is for men's fingers because they are bigger, and the curve is designed for girls smaller fingers, the torch is made to be compatible for both. :)

The booting up time it´s different, because the 9800 has OS 6 and the 9810 OS 7...

@Ciabo69 Could've been a default.. but one of my girl friends has that phone also, and hers was the same way. HIGHHHH CONTRAST on all the settings..real crappy. was pretty bummed out about it. But glad that yours was good! :)
