Hakone is a popular day trip destination away from Tokyo city to indulge in nature of mountains and lakes, onsen hot springs and more. With kids, we wanted to slowly enjoy the area and visit different spots so we went for a 3D2N trip and no regrets!
With a rental car, we managed to cover many spots and highly recommend to get a rental car if travelling with kids :)
