Thank you. Good morning, Britain, for working together with Martin Lewin, as he is amazing, and we desperately need his advice, support, and help, and thank you, Martin Lewis, for everything you do, you are our super man and we love you !!! Regarding minimum wage, I am shocked that some people don't have a clue what it is and that Martin Lewis has to tell them. But thanks, Martin, and good morning, Britain, for all of this information. I am pleased that Good Morning Britain has switched on their comments section as it used to be like people weren't allowed to leave comments. So bad !!! But now it has changed and I am pleased for it. Thanks

It’s ITV that switch off comments and I expect this one has been left on in error.
Also, weird use of a comma In Good Morning Britain.
And, yes, totally agree Martin does an amazing job and has no doubt saved lives with his accessible information and clear explanations.

I would like to ask Martin Lewis, please, why prices of Gas and electricity in Europe are only going up a very minimum amount and why prices in Britain have skyrocketed compare to Europe ? Europe is affected by Russian gas, but not so much Britain !!! My family and friends live in the EU, and their bills only go up slightly compared to the UK bills !!! Please give us honest reasons what is really going on here in Britain as the situation in Europe is better. Thanks.

There will be a lot of anger when people go back to full billing with no discount. That’s when the fun will start. Chaosreigns again. That’s what they want, whilst still paying energy companies extortionate prices. CRIMINAL.

To add to the underpaid on minimum wage, if you use your own private mobile phone to make work related calls and are using your own private internet data allowance for writing work reports, the company should be reimbursing something. They should pay at least 1p an hour extra over the minimum wage. Some care workers need to keep an eye out for this.

Ahh yes, like labour would not have assisted Ukraine , or lick the US’s a**hole or done anything different. They are all the same. This country is poor because it did not keep up with tech and focused on exploitation through banking and insurance like it’s done for 200 years.

I'm sorry did I miss the part were labour, the SNP, the green and the lib Dems all voted for lockdown too? Infact they wanted lockdown to come sooner, they wanted harder lockdowns and they didn't want them to end when they did.
THAT ruined the economy. Shutting down the world for something with a 2% death rate was the dumbest thing anyone could've done. All bar Sweden and Florida went with the narrative that lockdown was the answer.
So while the Tories are to blame, so is every single party in parliament. Because they ALL voted for it. Even China who did rather well from covid initially is struggling. The WOLRDS economy is on it's arse. You can't just say that's the Tories. It's niave, disingenuous, ignoring of the facts, and plain old wrong.
Tell me, did you support lockdown? Because of you did YOU and everyone else who went along with it are to blame. You're to blame for my delay for surgery that's three years waiting and counting, YOU are the reason the economy is on it's arse. Because YOu didn't bother to look into facts about covid because YOU bought the fear narrative.

Seriously mate, grow up. Childish comments like this are exactly why our society is divided.
They voted for Tories but received fascists. I'm pretty sure if people knew after 13 years we'd be way worse off and lead by fascists they wouldn't have voted. Common sense really

I would like to ask Martin Lewis that if it would be fair for employers to pay also for commuting to work and home certain amount as it is not fair that people has to pay to get to work and home if you think about it. Why people has to spend their own money to get to work and home ?! Unfair. Don't you think Martin Lewis?

I live in a block of flats. We have communal electric for the commonway lightning and outside lighting. We pay the managing agent for electricity as part of the half yearly maintenance service charge. The managing agent increased our electric estimate by 100% in Dec 2022 to £800 for the year, due to the price rise of energy. The managing agent look after paying the communal areas electricity bill.
Would we get any help with this electric cost from the government? Thanks

People are so ungrateful. Be happy you live in the country that helps you when you are unemployed and has got other government help, charities, food banks. And winters here are not even that cold. Imagine living in other country that helps with nothing ! Thank God!!
