- "Part 1 of the documentary for the album “Taken By Force”. The band introduces the story behind the making of the album from a very personal perspective.
The “Taken By Force Documentary” is exclusively on the Scorpions official youtube channel. - Zábava
Taken By Force deserves to be in any conversation of the great albums of the 70s. It's brilliant.
It is brilliant and far underrated...
Their best album. Bridges the two famous eras of the 70’s and 80’s Scorpions perfectly.
@@SC-xy7cn you said everything. Those who think the Uli and post-Uli era are completely disconnected have no idea. The building blocks of their 80s fame were all there and Uli helped lay those blocks.
Uli is probably the most underrated guitarist. He is amazing.
No he's a fucking idiot, bankrupt.
@@pauledmonds3249 ??? what the ****
It's so unusual and fantastic to have legends talking together, so casually, ignoring any past bitterness. This shows more than anything what true pros the Scorps are. I love these videos. Thank you Scorps, for still exceeding my expectations after 40 years.
What class. Not that I've seen many conversations between old rockers, but this has to one of the more coherent.
it was the FIRST time in 1977 i met Herman Rarebell during a SCORPIONS Concert in Marly near Metz in FRANCE?The set list was the same of Tokyo Tapes before the album
amazing memories.............
HERMAN RAREBELL a pillar of the succes of SCORPIONS......
So funny, love Klaus's evil chuckle at Uli livin in the big rusty van and Uli tellin him he got video evidence
Am I tripping or one could consider that Uli and Michael Schenker (and Ritchie, of course) were the “seeds” of what became Yngwie?
I'm pretty sure about it
Taken By Force, what a masterpiece!
wonderful to see Uli and Klaus , and Hermann
+lara scorp & Rudolf ! Oh Yes !!!
on stage , he is jung ;-)
he is! ... that's why they rock
@@larascorp2103 Er ist gut gealtert (He aged well)
Minus Francis Buchholz unfortunately.Too bad!!!
The Robot Men keep on rocking, grew up in the mid 70's. They were and still are great!!
Herman !!!! Forever Scorpions' drummer.
This the first time I have heard these stories. Very good stuff!
awesome story can't wait for part II 😍
I can listen to these guys all day telling their stories 👍👍👍
How in the hell are these guys not in the Rock n Roll HOF? Freaking travesty!!!!!
I love that old "Live" clip at the end.
One of my favorite albums! Scorpions rock
Legendary Bands of All Time
Klaus is a legend
Good to see uli jon roth and herman Rarebell...
Great interview
I love freedom of expression. Love to dance no matter what anyone thinks. Love all of you.
Herman’s dream came true and he would write the lyrics to one of the of THE GREATEST ROCK ANTHEMS OF THE AGE..
Rock you like you a hurricane
talking about the scorpions and Mercs, I got Uli to hold my Strat standing next to my SL500 right after a show... what a beautiful thing for Uli Jon Roth to do!!
If these guys learnt to speak english at school then the quality of education in Germany must be first rate.
It is!
On the other hand klaus said I an interview that he learned the language by his own.... Specially listening to the Beatles. Then when they started to travel to other country's. In the ends of the 70s and 80s. Klaus said he learned to perform like he does because was learning about other Artists whom they shared the tours
@@Iris-dv6ei He has a gift for language and is a fast learner.
@@rumpraisin indeed. He is a Precious accent❤️❤️❤️ I learned English by listening to his music. I speack Spanish actually :3
My parents were the age of the members of the Scorpions - believe me, they didn't even have English in school. They speak English, because of their lifestyle.
I had English from classes 5 to 13, higher education, good grades - wouldn't have dared to go to another country with that, or engage in a conversation willfully.
Today I'm certified C1-level - only through CZcams and Movies in original language. And reading, of course.
Absolutely Amazing ❤️❤️❤️👍✅
I am disabled, pretty bad. But watching this a ? popped into my head. I have or had a recording on CD of a Live show April 30th 1977. And here they are talking about Rudy Lenners picking up Herman and his just getting to Klaus Wedding May 8th. I wonder if that show was the last w/Rudy Lenners? It was a damn good show and quality recording as many live recordings from the time are not. But I can't find it. But I remember 100% because that night, turning into May 1st was a very special night for me as well. Herman joining, Uli leaving....it all made sense. And they had Tokyo Tapes to capture Uli's time w/the band. But Herman brought more ENGLISH to the lyrics which, changed them, along with their 1st American tour from being a big cult band into an International sensation.
KINGS !!
Awesome!
Uli is one of the greatest of all time
this rules.
Uli is always smiling, on stage, in videos, interviews, cuz of all the groupies females he's smashed.
The BEST Scorps album. My personal introduction to the band in the 70s. All killer, no fucking filler.
Uli und Hermann 👍👍👍
Esse caras marcaram vidas para sempre.
So is there no DVD with the actual CD if you purchase it? Do we only get the documentary online? Every TBF item i've seen online says 1 CD only. Anyone buy this yet???
AMAZINGGGG!!! PLEASE COME TO AUSTRALIA SCORPIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Herman is the nicest guy in the Scorpions
tbf🦂their best
7:16 ... is there no video?
Wedding video???
About the band party??
I didnt know A member from the Grateful Dead was in the Scorps?
Herman at 6:13 😂😂😂 "it is a fucked up situation"
why part 1, is somebody knows when we can see the part 2 ?
DO A SIMILAR CLASSIC TOUR AS MAIDEN, 70-80'S ONLY.
Cristais Paulista - SP - Brasil .
Scorps went downhill fast after Herman and Francis left - the chemistry just wasn't there any more. They're a shadow of that classic lineup now.
Well they weren't doing so great by 1985-86. It was dead already.
It's hard to tell what the original lineup of the band is correctly, Because they had so many changes in their history after their first album in 1972. Only Klaus and Rudolf are "the usual suspects" since then. Hahaha. Thanks to Klaus, Rudolf and Matthias kept the bands sound alive throughout their career.
oh, Herman.. why would you leave. the band never was the same without you, nor you were without the band
Caramba bem que alguém poderia traduzir para o português. 😊🖒
What was the name of the tune in that live performance at the end and where was it performed? Thanks!
+xpaddy01
The song is "He's a Woman, She's a Man". That wasn't actually live... playback...
+ovitairC so noted! Thank you the information! I appreciate it! :)
about 4 scorps songs on my playlist ...
is that Gay Cobain in ur profile pic ?
Hopefully they are:
Pictured life
We'll burn the sky
Fly to the rainbow
Loving you Sunday morning
And/or is there anybody there
🙌
@@trevor-johnsen Beautiful songs.
I wear my sunglasses at nite
It's sad how none of these guys are the original ones they are doppelgängers
