  • Imagine, way in the distant future, people are all wearing VR headsets, its 'Ready Player One’ come true. Living in the OASIS can be awesome and fulfilling. In this talk I will be diving into the seductive allure of augmented reality, explore the profound implications of living in a digital world, and unpack the potential dangers of losing ourselves in virtual escapes.
I’m a 14 year old Chinese student with a deep love for technology. I’ve always believed in change, and growing up I’ve always loved the “new things”. From coding lego robots, to creating short pieces of useless code, I find joy and a sense of accomplishment in these seemingly useless things. My personal philosophy in the words of Wayne Dyer and something I live by is "Do it now; the future is promised to no one." This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx
