The reason you can't kill Quinn is because when the game first released, companions had set roles like healer, tank, and dps, well it turns out Quinn was the only healer the Sith Warrior had access to so they had to remove the ability to kill him
I hate when you can kill off companions only later by the expansions rather than in the base game. But I guess the project is too ambitious where companion trust system (that choices matter in the class story depending on how the companions views you and act accordingly) can be implemented, then again the money is mostly spend on marketing and voice acting rather than the gameplay using 2006 game engine.
Weird when I passed the same campaign I had the option to kill him, and I also had a completely different dialogue and a fight with 2 Quinn's giant robots
@@zergling6802 Anything can happen I suppose, like in the trooper class story (first chapter) I thought I remembered that I can save fuse in the light side run but when I get to play again and play more like dark side, Fuse can't be saved. I could be misremembering it how first time worked out though, I have done mostly dark side choices that make sense as trooper.

Last I counted, the dialogue scenes in the expansions, by themselves without any of the combat or travel time, take up 30 hours give or take And yes. nowadays it is every single non-current expansion ever with one subscription by the looks of it, gotta buy a new subscription whenever they make a new one
Marr's death was great. One of the greatest light side sith lords of all time, but when he's next to the emperor he's basically a toddler having a temper tantrum.
The taxi are fixed and you still have to walk half of the map. The Quick Travel needs the place to be discovered, so its only useful to comeback and not to go to the mission
@@erichdegurechaff9515 You don't need to discover most quick travels in person; you just have to be within a few minutes walking distance and they will be discovered. Also, much of the game does have you retracing your steps anyways.

I still play the game, occasionally the original class stories even, and the maximum amount of time it rakes for me to reach a mission area after being given the mission is like maybe 2 minutes walking, although on average it is way shorter. I’ve noticed the walking is definitely not as annoying as classic WoW
Finally now that Zanny has gotten his third pup the prophecy can be fulfilled, three pups, three thrones, three kings. We no longer need to pretend as if we are here for the zan man. Let the order of funny fall, and watch as the new age of paw begin.

In the beta vette would also commit suicide if you didnt take off her shock collar and keept useing it. But yeah before level scaling and the companion rework were a thing story bosses were actually hard and you needed the companions. Now all solo content outside of master mode chapters is pretty much face roll.

The expansions are where the real game begins for me. Better writing, harder bosses / flashpoints etc / better companions. I found spamming “healer” was no longer viable at certain points

Varactyls are the coolest mounts in the game imo. Originally, when the game came out in 2011, you were able to kill Quinn, but people regretted it after doing it, because they were a companion down by then and he was your only healer. you see, back in the original vanilla version of the game, your companions had only 1 role. Vette = ranged dps, Jaesa = melee dps, Quinn = healer, Broonmark = tank, Pearce = tank. Not sure why they feel the sith warrior needed 2 tanks. anyway, Quinn was your only healer, so if you killed him, you were kinda screwed, so they patched it up so you can't kill him in the original story. it's kinda a spoiler if I say anything more.

Back in the day, you were able to kill some ompanions (like Quinn after his betrayal) but for story reasons Bioware took that out and now we're stuck on a ship with a traitor to the Emperor and it makes 0 sense
If I remember right him being unkillable is a relic of the Old Old Republic, back when companions didn't have access to all the roles. Back then Quinn was the only one to be a healer beyond the droid that no one uses because they're not viable with a lot of work and a lotta people killed Quinn then complained because they now have no healer.

Varactyls are the coolest mounts in the game imo.
Originally, when the game came out in 2011, you were able to kill Quinn, but people regretted it after doing it, because they were a companion down by then and he was your only healer. you see, back in the original vanilla version of the game, your companions had only 1 role. Vette = ranged dps, Jaesa = melee dps, Quinn = healer, Broonmark = tank, Pearce = tank. Not sure why they feel the sith warrior needed 2 tanks. anyway, Quinn was your only healer, so if you killed him, you were kinda screwed, so they patched it up so you can't kill him in the original story. it's kinda a spoiler if I say anything more.

Back in the day, you were able to kill some ompanions (like Quinn after his betrayal) but for story reasons Bioware took that out and now we're stuck on a ship with a traitor to the Emperor and it makes 0 sense
The emperor himself is a traitor tot the empire lol
If I remember right him being unkillable is a relic of the Old Old Republic, back when companions didn't have access to all the roles. Back then Quinn was the only one to be a healer beyond the droid that no one uses because they're not viable with a lot of work and a lotta people killed Quinn then complained because they now have no healer.
@@randomisaac5959 Indeed, but that's not all: some people complained because not just because their healer was dead; they also complained because Quinn died... after they clicked the "kill Quinn" button. It was... interesting to read some of that stuff.
