About Ulquiorra Cifer...when they talk about the Vasto Lorde, in terms of models....it always looks like him ! One of the best new character introduced in this arc ! Now the threat of the arc arrives !!
Loved it. When we got to the end of the last episode, and you were talking about Rukia needing to be there, I was thinking...Wait for it...wait for it... Your excitement when the squad came in was infectious!
1) One thing that doesn't really translate from the manga, to the censored anime, is that Orihime's abilities are NOT healing people. For example, in this scene in the manga, Chad had his arm torn off, rather than just beaten up, so her "healing" him is way stranger. She's restoring severed limbs in ways that simply aren't possible with healing or regeneration abilities.
2) Ichigo going hollow mode in the middle of a populated city would be...bad...
3) Once Urahara got on scene, killing Ichigo wasn't on the table any more. Even Aizen didn't want a straight fight against Urahara prior to obtaining the Hogyoku, and they could easily retreat, as any fight would cause a ton of collateral damage.
Tatsuki was actually initially part of the crew and would have developed powers like had and Orihime, then joined them in Soul Society. Her place got cut by editors (which the author has said that he regrets) and so her place in the story is a little stuck in limbo.
Not really spoilers, because it was kind of already explained, but pay attention to what happened to Ichigo while he was in the pit trying to gain his own Soul Reaper powers. He went past the time limit and technically died and started becoming a Hollow, but was able to stop it at the last minute and got his Soul Reaper powers, but the side effect of not doing it properly/in time lingered which is why the mask keeps coming back.

Karin figuring out Ichigo is a soul reaper feels weird in the anime, but in the manga she's been seeing him in his soul reaper attire ever since the parakeet stuff.

Punching and Kicking an Arrancar would be similar to punching an Iron Wall which is why they brag about their defenses so much. No wonder Yoriuchi broke her limbs on Yami's skull. Tatsuki missed out on Ichigo getting beaten to a pulp, compared to when he would cry when she would 1-punch him back in the day.

My Bleach experience while Bleach was ongoing decade ago been ruined by consistent fillers. I'm glad you are able to skip all that junk and have a better canon experience. Though i'm following a few reactors on their Bleach journey, it still wouldn't change my anime ranking. Which is at the bottom few.😂 Definitely not last though.
