Yaesu Vr5000 arrived today

What a great design Yaesu came up with, quite a very well built hf section and what can only be described as incredible vhf uhf and beyond tool for many possibilities.
My second, and glad I have been able to get one back in the shack. This model has the dsp and the recording function board fitted, so its fully packed, thats for sure. A quick play on 40m shows how $500 compares with $15,000, the vr5000 will surprise you. If one comes your way, consider it seriously, a great receiver that wont be leaving any time soon. Thanks. I can imagine your excitement. A Discone Antenna would make immense amount of improvement in VHF/UHF Frequencies. Did you compare the difference between VR-5000 and Icom or Kenwood? What difference did you make out with DSP-1 module? Let’s know. Thanks n 73s.

It was nowhere near as clear as the Icom.
It had too much static.
Was it an incorrect adjustment you made?

No sabe lo que dice, ni sabe sintonizarlo. Yo lo tengo también el Vr5000 y el mio funciona mucho mejor. SERÁ QUE NO TIENE SINTONIZADA LA ANTENA BIEN? A LA FRECUENCIA.
